The Development Fund for Black Students in Science and Technology (DFBSST) is an endowment fund which provides scholarships to African-American undergraduate students who enroll in scientific or technical fields of study at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). DFBSST identifies students through the assistance of Engineering and Science Department deans and professors at pre-selected, predominantly Black colleges and universities. The Careers That Work! program was launched in 1999. Each year, every high school in Idaho, Oregon, and Washington (public and private)are given five $1000 tuition scholarships to award to graduating students headed to one of the participating career colleges. Seniors awarded the Careers That Work! by their high school are not restricted to colleges within their home state. That means seniors graduating in Idaho, Oregon or Washington may be awarded the scholarship for attendance at any participating private career college in any of those three states.

As an industry, it provides the water we drink, the roads and bridges we drive on, sewer and stormwater systems, snow and ice removal, garbage and recycling services, environmental protections, other transportation systems such as railroad, airports, and ferries, and even emergency response to major disasters. Public works operatives work for both the government (cities, counties, and state) and consulting firms. Developed in partnership with UNCF, the UBS Scholarship will provide need-based scholarships of up to $5,000 to rising college sophomores enrolled full-time for the 2025-2026 academic year at one of the North Carolina HBCUs listed below.

Applicants must be individuals who have had finances impacted due to having been diagnosed with ALS themselves, or a parent or guardian or immediate family member* (living or deceased) having been diagnosed with ALS; Must be high school seniors, high school graduates or current undergraduates; Must be a resident of West Virginia, Maryland, District of Columbia, Virginia, South Carolina, Delaware, or Northern Ohio, and must plan to enroll in undergraduate study at an accredited two– or four–year college, university or vocational–technical school. The purpose of the Chiropractic Education Scholarship Program is to assist residents of the state of Oklahoma who are pursuing the study of chiropractic at accredited out-of-state schools. PRCUA has established the Education Scholarship Program for eligible students. The PRCUA Education Scholarship will be awarded with the purpose of providing financial assistance for students to earn undergraduate, graduate or professional degrees. Scholarships totaling $25,000 will be awarded to students based on the number of applications submitted and are available to all students, even those who are not members of the PRCUA. Scholarships are renewable through the yearly application process. Students may apply each year. However, students may only receive three PRCUA Education Scholarships total during their lifetime. Philippe Forton was a loving and compassionate husband and father. After receiving a heart transplant in 2016, he had many interactions with medical personnel. Philippe passed away in 2022, but having compassionate nurses by his side made a world of difference for him.
