Scholarship Description
The JL Winston Foundation seeks to support and mentor students who demonstrate confidence, ambition, a desire for self-improvement and a commitment to their communities. Scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis. The information provided in a candidate’s application will be used by the Foundation to select recipients for scholarships. Irrespective of the outcome, we wish you continued success in your academic endeavors.
To be eligible, students must be high school seniors who have successfully graduated from high school, have GED diplomas, or are enrolled in a two- or four-year undergraduate program. They must also meet the following requirements:
- Have not yet received a bachelor’s degree
- U.S. citizen or permanent resident, including DACA students
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Household income not exceeding $80,000 USD
