Annual scholarships are available for those enrolled at technical/associate, undergraduate, and graduate schools. 1) Technical school/associate degree students are eligible for a scholarship award of up to $2,500. Many students are attending school part-time, so students should apply for the

2) Undergraduate students are eligible for up to a $5,000 scholarship award. Awards are made at the discretion of the AGMA Foundation Trustees and are based on the experience of students and the number of eligible scholarship awardees for a given year. Martin Honors Scholarship

The Martin Honors Scholarship is designed for those who are already in the transfer process, or are applying for admission to UW Seattle within the next 2 quarters. Students apply for this scholarship during spring (the application is generally available May-July), either having already been admitted to UW Seattle for spring or summer quarters, or anticipating admission for fall or winter quarter of the coming academic year. For example, those applying for the Martin Honors Scholarship in spring 2025 could be:

- already admitted to UW Seattle for spring quarter 2025, but have not earned more than 18 UW credits by July;
- already admitted to UW Seattle for summer quarter 2025;
- already admitted to UW Seattle, or still awaiting an admission decision for fall quarter 2025; OR
- Planning to apply for admission to UW Seattle for winter quarter 2026.

Eligibility Criteria:

Be Washington State residents who meet any one of the following three categories:
US citizens, or
US Permanent Residents, or
Undocumented students who qualify for in-state tuition.

Washington State community college transfer students who are currently enrolled at the University of Washington in Seattle may not have earned more than 18 UW credits by the application deadline.
The award will depend on successful admission to University of Washington Seattle as a matriculated student. Unfortunately students planning to attend UW Bothell or UW Tacoma are not eligible to apply.


In most cases, that means you’re applying for the scholarship before you know whether you are able to be admitted to UW Seattle.

Martin Honors Scholarship

The Martin Honors Scholarship is designed for those who are already in the transfer process, or are applying for admission to UW Seattle within the next 2 quarters. Students apply for this scholarship during spring (the application is generally available May-July), either having already been admitted to UW Seattle for spring or summer quarters, or anticipating admission for fall or winter quarter of the coming academic year. For example, those applying for the Martin Honors Scholarship in spring 2025 could be: - already admitted to UW Seattle for spring quarter 2025, but have not earned more than 18 UW credits by July; - already admitted to UW Seattle for summer quarter 2025; - already admitted to UW Seattle, or still awaiting an admission decision for fall quarter 2025; OR - Planning to apply for admission to UW Seattle for winter quarter 2026. Eligibility Criteria: Be Washington State residents who meet any one of the following three categories: US citizens, or US Permanent Residents, or Undocumented students who qualify for in-state tuition. Boston University’s Noyce Scholarship Program

The Joy and Justice in Mathematics Teaching and Learning (J-Squared) Project is a collaboration of the Wheelock College of Education and Human Development and the College of Arts and Sciences at Boston University and school districts in the Boston area. This program focuses on preparing teachers to facilitate meaningful mathematical discourse in the classroom while simultaneously increasing students’ critical consciousness of issues of racism and other social injustices. J-Squared scholars experience a rich, hands-on, inquiry-based teacher preparation program and work closely with teachers, mathematics educators, mathematicians and students.

The J-Squared Project provides 100% tuition scholarships to individuals with backgrounds either in mathematics or related STEM fields to a one-year Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) degree program. The degree program leads to licensure to teach secondary mathematics. Once teaching, J-Squared scholars will be supported through summer and academic-year workshops, seminars, and mentoring. Colonel Battista was an active part of the team that successfully advocated on behalf of aircrews and maintainers who flew and worked on aircraft used to spread Agent Orange. After years of administrative battles and litigation, the Department of Veterans Affairs conceded the legitimacy of the medical claims of these men and women who were diagnosed with so-called Agent Orange presumptive diseases and opened its system of medical care and other benefits to Air Force Reserve colleagues who were exposed at Westover Air Base and other Air Force Reserve bases.

Minnesota Indian Scholarship Program

The Minnesota Indian Scholarship Program provides post-secondary financial assistance to eligible Minnesota resident students who are of one-fourth or more Indian ancestry and demonstrate financial need for an award. Scholarships are available to eligible Indian undergraduate students enrolled at least three-quarters of the time and graduate students enrolled at least half-time. Applicants must: be enrolled in an accredited college, university or vocational school in Minnesota; an undergrad student who qualifies for either a Pell or State Grant and demonstrates financial need; or, a graduate student who demonstrates financial need. The number of recipients will vary. The Minnesota Office of Higher Education is a cabinet-level state agency providing students with financial aid programs and information to help them gain access to postsecondary education. The Minnesota State Grant Program is the largest financial aid program administered by the Office of Higher Education, awarding more than $210 million in need-based grants to Minnesota residents attending eligible colleges, universities and career schools in Minnesota. The agency oversees other state scholarship programs, tuition reciprocity programs, a student loan program, Minnesota's 529 College Savings Plan, licensing and an early college awareness program and initiatives for youth. The number of awards varies each year, and the deadline is July 1.
