Scholarship Description
The Eleanor Marjorie Prescod Memorial Scholarship is a need-based fund.
The Eleanor Marjorie Prescod Memorial Scholarship will award two (2) need-based renewable scholarships up to $2,125.00, to college juniors or seniors majoring in science or humanities.
Eligibility
Applicant must:
Have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.
Have filed a FAFSA® for the upcoming academic year.
Have demonstrated unmet financial need, verified by the student’s college or university’s financial aid office.
Be enrolled full-time or admitted to a UNCF member institution, another HBCU, or any accredited four-year college or university as a junior or senior for the upcoming academic year.
Be pursuing a degree in science or humanities.
Be a U.S. Citizen.
