Each year NPVA offers merit-based scholarships for students who are committed to volunteering and making a difference in their communities. Candidates must be nominated by their academic department. Each nomination should be formally confirmed in a letter of recommendation from the department chair. The high cost of medical school can make the field inaccessible to students with financial need. For example, the patriarch of our family—Emanuel "Manny" Weiner—graduated from college in a pre-med program, but due to financial and other factors, was unable to attend medical school. This was one of the great regrets of his life. In memory of Manny and his wife, Sylvia Weiner, this scholarship seeks to support undergraduates in a pre-med track or current medical students. Any student in a pre-med or medical school program who has financial need and wants to become an M.D. may apply for this scholarship.

This scholarship aims to honor the legacy of William A. Lewis by supporting underrepresented students interested in pursuing careers in mathematics or other STEM fields. The Surety Bond Authority scholarship program is open to all high school and college students who are currently enrolled in or who are in pursuit of a degree in Accounting, Banking, Finance, or other business-related coursework. The Multi-Country Research Fellowship enables US scholars to carry out transational research in countries across the network of Overseas Research Centers as well as other countries. ​The fellowship supports advanced research in the humanities, social sciences, and allied natural sciences for US doctoral candidates, who are ‘all but dissertation,’ and scholars who have earned their PhD or a terminal degree. Applicants are eligible to apply as individuals or as teams. Six awards of $12,600 each will be granted. Funding is provided by the US Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. The UNIMA-USA scholarship program is intended to help cover tuition fees for American puppeteers who wish to study puppetry outside the U.S. Applicants should be puppeteers who have some professional experience, who have a university degree in puppetry, or who can otherwise demonstrate a serious commitment to the art form. Over the past several years, UNIMA has also given scholarships for study in an ever-widening number of places, including the Institut Internationale de la Marionnette in Charleville-Mezieres, France; the Central School of Speech and Drama in London, England; the International Summer Academy in Stuttgart, Germany; and Puppets in Prague. The working knowledge of another language might be necessary to fully participate in some programs. Candidates may use their scholarship at any time of the year, depending on when the courses are being offered. Puppetry training may be undertaken with either a recognized puppetry professional or a professional program outside the U.S. In some cases, an international puppet festival may be considered as a professional program.

The New Jersey Governor’s Industry Vocations Scholarship for Women & Minorities is open to women or minority group members (Black/African, Hispanic/Latino, Asian/Pacific Islander, Native American) who are attending any of New Jersey’s county colleges or technical/vocational schools and pursuing a construction-related field. These include, but are not limited to, architecture engineering technology, carpentry, electrical trades, industrial technology, and more.

Washington and Lee University's Johnson Scholarship recognizes and rewards students on the basis of academic achievement, demonstrated leadership and integrity, and their potential to contribute to the intellectual and civic life of the W&L campus and the world at large in years to come. Scholarships are awarded to up to 44 incoming students each year (roughly 10% of the first-year class). The NJCPA Scholarship Fund awards scholarships to college-bound New Jersey high school seniors intending to major in accounting or obtain a concentration in accounting which includes not less than 24 accounting credits.
