WebstaurantStore Diversity Scholarship

The WebstaurantStore Diversity Scholarship is a $5,000 grant created to encourage diversity in the field of hospitality and reward talented students from minority ethnic groups who possess a passion for the culinary arts. With this scholarship, our goal is to open doors and provide support to traditionally underrepresented communities in the foodservice industry. By encouraging the growth and development of students from diverse minority racial groups, we hope to empower them to achieve excellence in their chosen career.

To be eligible applicants must be students who are members of the following minority ethnic groups - American Indian/Alaska Native, Asian, Black/African American, Hispanic/Latino or Native Hawaiian/Other Pacific Islander.

Applicants must be enrolled full-time or part-time, or plan to be enrolled, in a college or culinary arts school; must be majoring in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or a closely related field, must have at least a 2.5 GPA or higher or 2 years of work experience in the restaurant or hospitality industries.. To apply, submit attach a 500-word essay that describes how you became interested in a Culinary Arts or Hospitality career and what you hope to bring to the industry.
