Any student in a pre-med or medical school program who has financial need and wants to become an M.D. may apply for this scholarship.

To apply, write a 400-600 word essay about why you want to become a medical doctor, describe any obstacles that have made this more difficult (i.e. financial circumstances), and explain how you hope having experienced those difficulties will contribute to your practice.
