The Kilby Family Endowed Scholarship Fund provides scholarships to descendants* of persons enslaved in Culpeper, Rappahannock and Madison counties, Virginia, prior to the end of the Civil War in 1865. Preference shall be given to descendants of persons enslaved by John Kilby of Culpeper County, Virginia (1715 – 1772), and by his lineal descendants who were enslavers. One Earth Young Filmmakers Contest is open to students from grade 3 through university and above, based on the student’s grade level (through age 25). As an example of the appropriate entrant category, students who have completed grade 11 at the time of making/producing the film and submit an entry before commencing grade 12 will be considered entrants for grade 12. The Contest accepts submissions from students living outside the U.S. Entrants may submit a film of no shorter than 3 minutes and no longer than 8 minutes. Each year, Philadelphia Foundation awards more than 200 scholarships from funds we manage. The Philadelphia Foundation is now using a Common Scholarship Application. She had over 27 years of experience as a registered nurse and aided in the delivery of an estimated 3,000 babies in Tri Cities, WA. Her passion for nursing was cut short in August 2021 when she was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. She spent her last few months on Earth living it to the fullest, knocking things off her bucket-list, and continuing to inspire others before passing away peacefully in January of 2022. She was a loving mother, wife, and friend, and left behind a legacy of compassion and strength. To honor her memory, the Martha Galvez Memorial Scholarship will support a hardworking, motivated student who plans to pursue a career in nursing. The Charles B. Staats Memorial Foundation (CBSMF) Scholarship is awarded annually to a graduating high school senior who is also a swim coach. The Robert W. Cook Eagle Scout Scholarship is awarded twice a year to Eagle Scouts to help defray the costs of their post-high school education. The scholarships vary in amount up to $1,000 (or $2,000 for Tri-County area residents) and may be used for Undergraduate, Graduate, Continuing Education ($100 per course), Professional Education, or Trade School (up to $500) courses. Applicants must a maintain a 3.0 GPA to remain eligible for the renewal of this award.

The Tee Up Diversity Scholarship Program was established to provide one-time renewable scholarships to Black/African American junior students enrolled at an Historically Black College or University ("HBCU") with an interest in the various facets of the golf business or who are pursuing a career in sports marketing. Preference will be given to students majoring in accounting, business administration, management, hospitality administration, communications, public relations, marketing, environmental science, recreation and park management, and/or sports management Applicants for the program must meet the criteria below: - Be a Black or African American. - Have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale. - Demonstrate financial need
