Scholarship Description
Every year GPLLA offers candidates a chance to apply for student scholarships as well as grants for working information professionals.
GPLLA awards scholarships in the amount of $1,000 to promising LIS students interested in pursuing a career in law librarianship. Award recipients will also be provided a one year membership to GPLLA.
Applicants must have been accepted to and/or are registered at an ALA-accredited library school; must continue enrollment for at least another semester or quarter, and must reside within the geographic area covered by GPLLA (Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware). Preference will be given to those residing in the Tri-State area (the area of Pennsylvania east of the Susquehanna River, New Jersey south of and including Trenton, and all of Delaware). I
