Scholarship Description
Administered by UNCF, the LeBlanc/Baker Scholarship for Change provides a renewable need-based scholarship of up to $4,000 annually to male students who will attend an accredited, four-year Historically Black College or University (“HBCU”) in the fall of the 2025-2026 academic year.
Applicants for the Program must meet the following criteria:
1) Be a male.
2) Be a graduating high school senior of a Washington, District of Columbia Public School at the time of application submission.
3) Possess a minimum high school cumulative grade point average of 2.0 but not higher than 3.0 on a 4.0 point scale at the time of application.
4) Who will be enrolled full-time for the 2025-2026 academic year at any accredited UNCF Member Institution, or other accredited four-year HBCU.
5) Complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (“FAFSA”) form.
6) Have a demonstrated unmet financial need as verified by their college or university.
