Lando LaKeith Young was a beloved friend who passed away far too soon on January 9th, 2025. Lando was a coach and math teacher who changed the lives of over 30,000 kids over the course of his career. Lando was a kinesiology major at Stephen F. The Springfield Research Fund Dissertation Fellowship supports graduate students at any stage of their dissertation who are interested in researching contemporary LGBTQIA+ issues in an effort to dispel stereotypes and other negative information that leads to prejudice and discrimination. The Careers That Work! program was launched in 1999. Each year, every high school in Idaho, Oregon, and Washington (public and private)are given five $1000 tuition scholarships to award to graduating students headed to one of the participating career colleges. Seniors awarded the Careers That Work! by their high school are not restricted to colleges within their home state.
