Doctors in the Boondocks Scholarship

Many underserved communities don’t have enough hospitals, doctors, and other care providers to address the needs of their people, leading to long wait times, sparse appointment availability, and rushed care that can all contribute to missed diagnoses.

This scholarship seeks to support students who are committed to using their medical passions to improve access to healthcare in underserved communities.

Any low-income medical resident who is practicing in an underserved area may apply for this scholarship opportunity.
