Crawford Minority Teacher Scholarship, applicants must: be a black or Hispanic/Latinx student; be an Indiana resident and a United States citizen or eligible non-citizen; be admitted or already attending an eligible Indiana institution as a full-time student; pursue or intend to pursue a course of study that would enable the student, upon graduation, to teach in an accredited school in Indiana; and agree in writing to apply for a teaching position at an accredited school in Indiana following that student's certification as a teacher and, if hired, to teach for at least three years. The National Scholarship Program of the American Board of Funeral Service Education was established to provide financial awards to students enrolled in funeral service or mortuary science programs to assist them in obtaining their professional education. The Paraprofessional Teacher Preparation Grant Program provides financial assistance to Massachusetts residents who are currently employed as paraprofessionals in Massachusetts public schools, but wish to become certified as full time teachers.
