The Boyk Law Veteran Scholarship is a $2,000 award for a student currently enrolled in an accredited college or university. This scholarship is open to those who have served in the Armed Forces or who are the child of a US Veteran. Eligibility - The applicant has served in the United States Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, Coast Guard, or Reserves OR is the child or stepchild of a veteran. - The applicant is a U.S. citizen currently attending an accredited college or university within the United States. Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and have completed at least one semester of classes at an accredited college or university.

The Virginia Museum of Fine Arts Fellowship Program is a vital source of funding for the visual arts and art history in Virginia. VMFA is committed to supporting professional artists as well as art and art history students who demonstrate exceptional creative ability in their chosen discipline. Student applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents who are current legal residents of Virginia or have been paying in-state tuition to an accredited Virginia college, university of school of the arts that they attend as full-time students. College-bound high school seniors, current undergraduate students or 1st and 2nd year graduate students are encouraged to apply. The Virginia Museum of Fine Arts (VMFA) is a state-supported, privately endowed educational institution created for the benefit of the citizens of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Its purpose is to collect, preserve, exhibit, and interpret art, to encourage the study of the arts, and thus to enrich the lives of all. The Virginia Museum of Fine Arts offers numerous programs for people of all ages and walks of life. For undergraduate and graduate students enrolled full-time in a degree-seeking program at an accredited college, university, or school of the arts, the Virginia Museum of Fine arts offers a fellowship.

Eligibility • Applicants can be pursuing these types of academic programs: two-year, four-year undergraduate, graduate studies, or accredited alternative education programs, and must still be a full-time student at the time of the upcoming WM conference. Applicants must be in at least their third year of studies (including undergraduate studies), except for applicants in a two-year program or an accredited alternative academic program. • Applicants must be enrolled or accepted in a program relevant to the nuclear or radwaste industries, such as nuclear engineering, radiation protection, environmental science or engineering, or related fields, as well as business-related fields. • Applicants cannot have previously received a Roy G. Post Foundation scholarship. • All eligible applicants will be considered regardless of race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, or any other characteristic.

This scholarship aims to support students attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities by reducing the expenses of tuition and books. Any undergraduate student pursuing a four-year degree at an HBCU, majoring in business or agriculture, with at least a 2.7 GPA or higher may apply for this scholarship.

An applicant for the Churchill Scholarship must be a citizen of the United States, either native-born or naturalized, and must be enrolled in one of the Participating Institutions and due to graduate during the same academic year as the deadline or be a student who has graduated from one of those institutions within the past 12 months before the deadline. Upon taking up the Churchill Scholarship, a Churchill Scholar must hold a bachelor’s degree. Outstanding academic achievement. There is no minimum GPA, though most applicants have a very high average. The Committee looks at achievement in STEM courses, especially in the major, as indicated by course grades and recommendation letters. Proven talent in research. Applicants in the sciences and engineering will demonstrate extensive laboratory experience, internships, or other related work, while applicants in mathematics will show substantial independent work or other projects. The Committee looks for originality and creativity. Outstanding personal qualities. Understanding the time commitment required by research, the Churchill Foundation does not seek so-called “well-rounded applicants”; instead, it seeks applicants with what we call interesting “jagged edges.” The Committee takes into account interests and achievements outside of research, but it does not favor any particular kind of activity.

As part of its commitment, Sodexo Stop Hunger Foundation wants to engage and reward students who have made a significant impact against hunger and are driving awareness and mobilizing youth to be catalysts for innovative models and solutions to eliminate childhood hunger. Four of these winners each receive $1,500, and the student chosen as the Aubespin Scholar receives $2,500. We’re looking for critical thinkers who have a passion for words and enjoy making writing clear, accurate, and engaging. The Walsh Scholarship goes to an applicant who aspires to edit news and who demonstrates the talent and passion for language and journalism that Bill Walsh devoted his career to. The Surety Bond Authority scholarship program is open to all high school and college students who are currently enrolled in or who are in pursuit of a degree in Accounting, Banking, Finance, or other business-related coursework. To participate, interested students must enter the essay contest to earn the opportunity to win $1,500 towards the college of their choice. To enter the essay contest, the student must submit a 500 to 1,000-word essay explaining why they have chosen or are choosing a career in Accounting, Banking, Finance, or other business-related fields. The essay should be submitted in either Word or PDF format only and should be emailed. The Multi-Country Research Fellowship enables US scholars to carry out transational research in countries across the network of Overseas Research Centers as well as other countries. ​The fellowship supports advanced research in the humanities, social sciences, and allied natural sciences for US doctoral candidates, who are ‘all but dissertation,’ and scholars who have earned their PhD or a terminal degree. The UNIMA-USA scholarship program is intended to help cover tuition fees for American puppeteers who wish to study puppetry outside the U.S. Applicants should be puppeteers who have some professional experience, who have a university degree in puppetry, or who can otherwise demonstrate a serious commitment to the art form. Over the past several years, UNIMA has also given scholarships for study in an ever-widening number of places, including the Institut Internationale de la Marionnette in Charleville-Mezieres, France; the Central School of Speech and Drama in London, England; the International Summer Academy in Stuttgart, Germany; and Puppets in Prague. The working knowledge of another language might be necessary to fully participate in some programs. Candidates may use their scholarship at any time of the year, depending on when the courses are being offered. Puppetry training may be undertaken with either a recognized puppetry professional or a professional program outside the U.S. In some cases, an international puppet festival may be considered as a professional program.

The Minority Scholarship Award recognizes physical therapy students currently in their final year of an accredited program, and faculty members who are pursuing postprofessional doctoral degrees, for their professional character and academic excellence.

The NJCPA Scholarship Fund awards scholarships to college-bound New Jersey high school seniors intending to major in accounting or obtain a concentration in accounting which includes not less than 24 accounting credits. The Gilbert Kushner Travel Award honors the legacy of an influential SfAA Fellow and recipient of the 2005 Sol Tax Distinguished Service Award. Renowned for his pioneering role in developing applied anthropology as a graduate field, Kushner served as Chair of the University of South Florida’s Anthropology Department and Associate Dean of Social and Behavioral Sciences. Under his leadership, USF became a leading center for applied anthropology, with numerous MA and Ph.D. students in the field. Kushner strongly advocated for field experiences, believing they offer invaluable insights for anthropologists. His research, which began with studies of Indian immigrants to Israel, fostered a lifelong commitment to ethics, human rights, and the persistence of cultural groups.
