To be eligible for the William A. Crawford Minority Teacher Scholarship, applicants must: be a black or Hispanic/Latinx student; be an Indiana resident and a United States citizen or eligible non-citizen; be admitted or already attending an eligible Indiana institution as a full-time student; pursue or intend to pursue a course of study that would enable the student, upon graduation, to teach in an accredited school in Indiana; and agree in writing to apply for a teaching position at an accredited school in Indiana following that student's certification as a teacher and, if hired, to teach for at least three years. The Ian Parry Photojournalism Grant supports young and emerging photographers as they embark on their career in the world of photojournalism. This scholarship competition is open to full-time photography students or photographers who are 24 years of age or younger. Applicants must submit a photo portfolio and a proposed photo story they will shoot if a winner.

The National Scholarship Program of the American Board of Funeral Service Education was established to provide financial awards to students enrolled in funeral service or mortuary science programs to assist them in obtaining their professional education. Established during the 1960’s the program has awarded scholarships to hundreds of students. Scholarships are generally from $1,500 - $2,500 for an academic year and are applied directly to the student’s tuition charges after certification of enrollment is received from the college involved.

The Paraprofessional Teacher Preparation Grant Program provides financial assistance to Massachusetts residents who are currently employed as paraprofessionals in Massachusetts public schools, but wish to become certified as full time teachers. Financial need is not a requirement for the Paraprofessional Teacher Preparation Grant. However, recipients must annually file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Postdoctoral Awards provide recently graduated scholars an opportunity to conduct research and receive professional training abroad. Awards may involve limited teaching. Postdoctoral Awards are open to scholars who will have received a doctoral degree (Ph.D., J.D., M.D., Ed.D., etc.) within five to seven years of the fellowship start date, as noted in the award description. Degree conferment before the start of the award is mandatory. Institutional affiliation in the United States is not required.

Eligibility The Luce Scholars Program provides an in-depth experience in Asia to emerging leaders who would not otherwise have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the country where they are placed. The ConnectHER Film Festival is an international youth competition that welcomes short films about issues that impact women and girls. Filmmakers must be 13 to 25 years old at the submission date. That means that scripts, storyboards, directing, cinematography, editing, etc., must be done by people who meet this age requirement. Actors can be any age. Films must be 3 to 6 minutes long. All films must be subtitled in English. Any gender can submit a film as long as the topic addresses critical issues related to advancing women and girls.
