Our program is the nation’s only national scholarship program specifically providing youth that have experienced homelessness with comprehensive support to and through higher education and into the workforce.

Students world-wide are invited to compete for scholarship awards in three divisions: - High School: students and home-schooled students enrolled at the high school level during the contest year - College/University: students enrolled in at least six credit hours of course work at a junior college, college, or university during the contest year - Graduate School: students enrolled during the contest year in at least three credit hours of graduate course work at a college or university leading to an advanced degree To apply, students must submit a 6-8 page essay, responding to the contest topic on the scholarship provider's website. All essays must be written in english and address the topic, which is related to Jane Austen's novels. First Place: $1,000 Second Place: $500 Third Place: $250

Many underserved communities don’t have enough hospitals, doctors, and other care providers to address the needs of their people, leading to long wait times, sparse appointment availability, and rushed care that can all contribute to missed diagnoses. This scholarship seeks to support students who are committed to using their medical passions to improve access to healthcare in underserved communities. Any low-income medical resident who is practicing in an underserved area may apply for this scholarship opportunity.

Undergraduate and graduate students who are enrolled either part time or full time at a U.S. college or university. Non-U.S. citizens are eligible as long as they are enrolled in a U.S. college or university and can meet student eligibility status, and they are legally eligible to provide a completed and signed W-9 prior to payout. The Collegiate Inventors Competition is not a traditional scholarship program and does not provide direct tuition assistance. The competition recognizes innovations, discoveries and research by college and university students by awarding unrestricted cash prizes. The Collegiate Inventors Competition receives inventions of all types from all fields. Finalists of the Collegiate Inventors Competition will compete for first and second place in their Undergraduate or Graduate category. Finalists will receive an all-expenses paid trip to Washington, D.C. Winners will be awarded cash prizes and a patent acceleration certificate.

The Joseph Zukin Jr. Educational Opportunity Scholarship is presented to any graduate or undergraduate student whose academic record and community activities reflect the entrepreneurial spirit demonstrated by Mr. Zukin in his lifetime. Special consideration is given to applicants from marginalized communities and to students who have an understanding, connection, or relationship to the OOH advertising industry. Candidates for the scholarship will be selected on the basis of their academic performance, career goals, and commitment to the spirit of entrepreneurism and community engagement that distinguished the life of Mr. Zukin. The number of recipients will vary.

Attorney Terry Bryant will be awarding his firm’s annual college scholarship to one high school senior in the nation. This scholarship gives students an opportunity to help fund their college education. To apply for the Terry Bryant College Scholarship, a student must submit a short video in response to the following prompt: If you had up to one minute with your younger self at the time you started high school, what advice would you give on how to stay safe on city streets – whether as a driver, passenger, cyclist, or pedestrian? Eligibility: The Terry Bryant College Scholarship is available to all current U.S. high school seniors, regardless of race, color, gender, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, or disability. Applicants must also have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale and must be planning to enter an accredited four-year university to pursue a degree.

The Student Video Contest is aimed at helping students gain a better understanding of the importance of transportation infrastructure investment to the U.S. economy and quality of life, and to learn more about the industry and potential transportation construction career opportunities. ARTBA’s Research & Education Division sponsors the competition, which is divided into two age groups: Elementary, middle or high school students Post-secondary, college and graduate students Winners are selected in each age group. First prize in each category is $500 and second place in each category is $250. Videos should be no longer than 2 ½ minutes and feature audio. Eligibility: Students in elementary, middle, or high school. Students in post-secondary, college, or graduate programs are eligible.

The Friends of the Firm Scholarships are typically $1,000-$2,500. Our scholarships are available to undergraduate students throughout the United States, and the awards can be applied to tuition and other education expenses at the recipients' schools. The Nancy Fletcher Leadership Scholarship is one of seven named scholarships in the FOARE Scholarship Program, a program that provides scholarships to students with connections to the Out Of Home (OOH) advertising industry. All applicants must be able to detail their connection, either through themselves or through their family, to the OOH industry. As part of its mission to fund research and education initiatives that are critical to the future of the out of home (OOH) industry, FOARE awards scholarships to deserving students each year. Through the Arthur H. Goodman Scholarship Endowment Fund, CDC Small Business Finance provides financial assistance to dynamic, community-minded students transitioning from a community college in California, Arizona, and Nevada to a four-year university.

Blue Grass Energy annually awards ten $1,500 scholarships to graduating high school seniors who live within their service area (Kentucky). These scholarships will be awarded based on a random drawing on June 6. Eligibility: Eligible applicants are graduating high school seniors with plans to attend an accredited college, university or trade school, and living with a parent or guardian who is a Blue Grass Energy member. Members of the immediate families of employees, directors and people receiving benefits from Blue Grass Energy are ineligible.

The Terrance N. Ingraham Pediatric Optometry Residency Award is open to optometric residents who are members of the American Academy of Optometry (AAO). The CFGNB Suzanne Beckius Scholarships support students who have participated in the Southington Youth Summer Theater and/or Plainville Choral Society Youth Summer Theater and are pursuing higher education. The Scholarship Committee selects recipients quarterly, aiming to award scholarships to women who demonstrate a strong passion and determination for careers in the automotive, mobility, and related fields. Our goal is to alleviate financial burdens on students so they can concentrate on gaining knowledge and developing their careers in the rapidly changing landscape of global mobility. The Arkansas Rural Health Scholarship was created by Dr. Rhys Branman to support, empower, and encourage medical students in Arkansas who are interested in practicing medicine in rural areas of Arkansas. The scholarship award of $2,500 is to be used toward tuition fees and educational expenses, including but not limited to: textbooks, supplies (paper, pens, notebooks, etc.), and required technology. ForEverglades Research Enhancement Grants provide graduate students up to $30,000 for research-related expenses. Formerly known as ForEverglades Scholarships & Fellowships, these awards are intended to support outstanding graduate research in areas related to the current and future restored Everglades ecosystem.

The G.B. Mann Scholarship is awarded to current high school senior students who attend school in the Dallas Branch region (Collin, Cooke, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Kaufman, Navarro, and Rockwall Counties) and who will be attending an institution of higher learning in the upcoming fall semester in pursuit of a degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or Environmental Engineering. Besides completing the application, applicants must also submit: two references (one should be a teacher or counselor who is familiar with their academic ability and the other a personal reference from someone other than family); a copy of their transcript and their ACT/SAT scores; and a 300-word essay on an assigned topic.

The Margot Bogner Memorial Scholarship seeks to honor her spirit by awarding a female student at Kansas State University who demonstrates the same aspirations for elevating the world in a similar manner that she did. Undergraduate female students are eligible to apply if they are attending Kansas State University, meet the GPA and community service requirements. Participation in Greek life or extracurricular activities/clubs is recommended.

Margot Pickering Bogner was a beloved and passionate attorney licensed in the state of Kansas and Missouri. She believed that success in practicing law was attributed to three factors: the ability to communicate diligently, making empathetic decisions, and gaining the trust of those around you. She vigorously pursued these skills as a student, as an apprentice, and as a practicing attorney. To honor her legacy and continue her tradition of placing people over profit, the Margot Pickering Aspiring Attorney Scholarship will support a pre- law student at Kansas State University, or current law students studying at any university across the US. Students are eligible to apply if they have a GPA of 3.0 or higher. The American Coal Ash Association Educational Foundation (ACAAEF) is accepting applications for scholarships from students with an interest in the beneficial use of coal combustion products (CCP). Both currently-enrolled graduate and undergraduate students are invited to apply. The awards will be based on essays, coursework, academic credentials, and recommendations. Essays may discuss a wide variety of topics ranging from CCP management, engineering research, environmental regulation, environmental law, case histories, or other aspects of beneficial use. The 14th annual Ocean Awareness Contest is a platform for young people to learn about environmental issues through art-making and creative communication, explore their relationship to a changing world, and become advocates for positive change. The Jorian Kuran Harris (Shugg) Helping Heart Foundation Scholarship will support a student in one of these fields as they explore what a career in business will look like for them. The Iowa Space Grant Consortium (ISGC) will award scholarships for undergraduate students pursuing a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) disciplines that support NASA’s mission. For the Incoming Freshman Merit Scholarship, applicants must: be a US citizen; have a 3.0 GPA; and be enrolled full-time at DMACC, Drake, ISU, Loras, Morningside, UI or UNI. The Undergraduate STEM Research Scholarship has similar requirements, except applicants must be currently enrolled undergraduates. The City of Lawrenceburg established the Paul E. “Truck” Tremain Memorial Scholarship Program at the Dearborn Community Foundation (DCF) with the intent to financially assist graduates of Lawrenceburg High School (Indiana) who pursue a post-secondary education and who meet specific eligibility criteria. Lando LaKeith Young was a beloved friend who passed away far too soon on January 9th, 2025. Lando was loved by everyone in his whole town of Jefferson, Texas as well as at the school he taught at in Cypress, Texas for twenty years (Cypress-Fairbanks). Lando was a coach and math teacher who changed the lives of over 30,000 kids over the course of his career. Lando was a kinesiology major at Stephen F. The Springfield Research Fund Dissertation Fellowship supports graduate students at any stage of their dissertation who are interested in researching contemporary LGBTQIA+ issues in an effort to dispel stereotypes and other negative information that leads to prejudice and discrimination. The 2025 area of preference will be given to dissertation research that addresses intersectional stigmas. One fellowship of up to $10,000 is available. Hawaii Education Association Student Teacher Scholarship provides financial assistance to members of the Hawaii Education Association (HEA) and their children during their student teaching semester.
