Scholarship Description
Purpose
To support students' field studies and offer an opportunity to gain knowledge and experience beyond the regular course of study.
Education
For undergraduate and graduate students.
Eligibility
Open to undergraduate and master’s degree students. Research must be conducted in the Western Hemisphere. Eligibility is open to U.S. Citizens and permanent residents who are currently and actively enrolled in a U.S.-based institution. Due to IRS restrictions, GCA is unable to fund awards for international applicants.
Provisions
Provides $3,500 annually to support students' outdoor summer field studies.
Selection
Members of the GCA Scholarship Committee and professionals knowledgeable in field botany will select awardees.
