The UA Scholars Award is a $15,000 scholarship awarded to Alaska high school students who are in the top 10% of their class at the end of their junior year as determined by their school. The Multi-Country Research Fellowship enables US scholars to carry out transational research in countries across the network of Overseas Research Centers as well as other countries. ​The fellowship supports advanced research in the humanities, social sciences, and allied natural sciences for US doctoral candidates, who are ‘all but dissertation,’ and scholars who have earned their PhD or a terminal degree. The UNIMA-USA scholarship program is intended to help cover tuition fees for American puppeteers who wish to study puppetry outside the U.S. Applicants should be puppeteers who have some professional experience, who have a university degree in puppetry, or who can otherwise demonstrate a serious commitment to the art form. Over the past several years, UNIMA has also given scholarships for study in an ever-widening number of places, including the Institut Internationale de la Marionnette in Charleville-Mezieres, France; the Central School of Speech and Drama in London, England; the International Summer Academy in Stuttgart, Germany; and Puppets in Prague. The working knowledge of another language might be necessary to fully participate in some programs. Candidates may use their scholarship at any time of the year, depending on when the courses are being offered. This award recognizes outstanding teachers in our profession who deserve to be recognized for their impact on veterinary students. The SAVMA Chapter that is associated with the submission will receive a stipend to host an awards ceremony to honor the teacher that is chosen.

You must be a graduate of a Century Scholar school. In addition to your academic achievement including achievement under difficult circumstances, your co-curricular involvement (campus and community activities, leadership roles, employment, etc.) is also considered. In order to provide scholarship opportunities to the greatest number of students, Texas A&M does not stack Academic Scholarships. The Opportunity Award program provides scholarships for a first year freshman with outstanding high school records. Selection is based on an applicant's high school academic record, activities, leadership ability, and, in some cases evidence of financial need. Stipends for these awards generally range from $100 to $15,000 per year. Out-of-state students may be eligible to receive a non-resident tuition waiver after receiving a competitive scholarship of a specified minimum dollar amount from Texas A&M University.

To be considered for the Regents’ Scholarship, you must be: -Admitted as a freshman to Texas A&M University College Station, including the McAllen Higher Education Center, Engineering Academy at Blinn Bryan or Engineering Academy at Galveston. -A first-generation college student (neither parent has earned a bachelor’s degree). -From a family with a total income of less than $40,000 per year as verified through the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the Texas Application for Student Financial Aid (TASFA). -Living on campus their entire first year for students at the College Station and Galveston campus unless a special circumstance housing appeal is approved.

Any undergraduate student majoring in bioinformatics, computer science, biology, agriculture, or plant sciences may apply for this scholarship. A minimum GPA of 2.8 is required for this scholarship. To apply, please submit two letters or recommendation, and tell us about your accomplishments within the field of bioinformatics and what your career goals are. One letter of recommendation should be a professional reference, such as a professor, that can vouch for the candidate’s interest in bioinformatics. Examples of personal development in this field can include but are not limited to, learning interfaces and software required bioinformatic analysis, development of new bioinformatic software, generating novel sequencing data, and/or improving currently available datasets. This scholarship is named after Brian Bushnell, developer of the bioinformatic tools suite BBtools, and aims to help future scientists build the bioinformatic skills required to evaluate large sets of biological data.

Five one-year scholarships available to full-time undergraduate Engineering Technology students pursuing either a bachelor or an associate degree in a course of study that has traditionally been a preparatory curriculum for the HVAC&R profession. The Kate Neal Kinley Memorial Fellowship is offered to students seeking advanced studies in architecture, art, dance, landscape architecture, music, theatre, or urban and regional planning. The New Jersey Governor’s Industry Vocations Scholarship for Women & Minorities is open to women or minority group members (Black/African, Hispanic/Latino, Asian/Pacific Islander, Native American) who are attending any of New Jersey’s county colleges or technical/vocational schools and pursuing a construction-related field. These include, but are not limited to, architecture engineering technology, carpentry, electrical trades, industrial technology, and more.

Washington and Lee University's Johnson Scholarship recognizes and rewards students on the basis of academic achievement, demonstrated leadership and integrity, and their potential to contribute to the intellectual and civic life of the W&L campus and the world at large in years to come. Scholarships are awarded to up to 44 incoming students each year (roughly 10% of the first-year class). Johnson Scholarships cover tuition and fees, housing and food, and $10,000 in funding for a summer experience — a grand total of more than $89,000 per year. Chancellor's Scholars receive full tuition, plus a one-time summer stipend for an immersive experience following the sophomore or junior year. The STLE Jeanie S. McCoy Scholarship is an international essay contest open to deserving women pursuing an education and future career in tribology. This scholarship honors Jeanie S. McCoy, who began her career as a scientist in the 1940s when technical careers were largely male-dominated. The scholarship provides $5,000 to the recipient, whose essay will also be featured in Tribology & Lubrication Technology (TLT) magazine and recognized at the STLE Annual Meeting. The scholarship aims to inspire future female leaders in the field of tribology.

To promote diversity and equity in the optometric profession for generations to come, the American Optometric Association (AOA) and the American Optometric Student Association (AOSA) have created the AOA/AOSA Opportunities in Optometry Grant program. This fund is designed as a one-time stipend for under-represented minority students interested in the field of optometry to help defray the costs associated with applying to optometry school. Multiple grants of $1,500 each will be awarded annually to students who are chosen by the selection committee in 2021. DeSales University Catholic Schools Grants are offered to graduates of Catholic high schools who are entering DeSales University in the Fall. Graduates of Catholic Home Schooling agencies do not qualify for the Catholic Schools Grant. A minimum GPA of a 2.5 is preferred, but students with over a 2.0 GPA may be considered for admission. Other than the aforementioned criteria, this scholarship doesn't have too many other restrictions. Purpose: To support a student nurse who is pursuing a career in oncology nursing by providing the funding to attend ONS Congress®.  Preference for this award is given to student nurses who are based within a 30-mile radius of the location where ONS Congress is being held.  However, because funding may vary from year to year for this award, the Foundation encourages applications from outside of the 30-mile radius for consideration by our review panel. Scholarship: Registration to attend the 2026 ONS Congress, May 13-17, 2026, in San Antonio, Texas. Reimbursement for meals and transportation expenses during the conference and 1-year membership to the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS). For those outside the 30-mile radius, consideration will be given for reimbursement of meals, transportation, and accommodations during the ONS Congress period. Discovery Boost Grants (DBG) support high-risk, high-reward exploratory cancer research across the research continuum. Investigators may focus on developing research methodologies, establishing feasibility, or leading pilot tests. It is expected that preliminary data generated from a completed DBG will have the potential to secure additional grant funding to further the research and open new and highly innovative areas for investigation. Mission Boost Grants (MBG) are designed to support research projects that specifically focus on translation to human testing. MBGs are opportunities for independent investigators at all levels to apply for additional, or "boost," resources for innovative, clinical-enabling projects. MBGs offer 2 stages of funding: -Stage I requires the investigator to develop outcome-specific, unequivocal milestones that reduce the risks of studying a new drug, device, or procedure in patients. -Stage II supports testing in cancer patients. Stage I Mission Boost Stage I will be for a term of up to 2 years with an allowable budget of $135,000 per year direct costs plus 10% allowable indirect costs ($297,000 allowable total costs). Stage II Mission Boost Stage II will be for a term of up to 18 months with an allowable budget up to $545,000 direct costs plus 10% allowable indirect costs.

Grant Overview Postdoctoral Fellowships (PF) support new investigators in research training programs to position them for independent careers in cancer research. As part of their evaluation, peer reviewers consider how well the fellowship will broaden the applicant’s research training and experience. Students on-track to complete their degree or continuous education program who are facing financial challenges may apply to receive a one-time scholarship of up to $2,500. Open only to: -legal residents (U.S. Citizen or legal permanent resident with a valid permanent resident card or passport stamped of the United States, Puerto Rico and the District of Columbia who are currently enrolled full-time or part-time at an accredited post-secondary institution or continuous education program, including two- or four-year colleges and vocational/technical certificate/certification programs; -have a current cumulative grade point average of 2.75 or higher -able to demonstrate leadership abilities, demonstrate good moral character in all aspects of his/her life, including personal, professional, educational, in his/her community, and online presence in accordance with these official rules. To apply, write the required short essay in response to the assigned question. The essay will be evaluated by three professors who teach in The Pursuit. When the MONARCH Program is in question, this program is designed for anyone with a Bachelors’s degree in any undergraduate field that has the aptitude and desire to study Computer Science. Supported by the Department of Defense and administered by the National Science Teaching Association (NSTA), the Junior Science and Humanities Symposium (JSHS) is an annual program designed to inspire and recognize high school students for their original research in STEM. Through mentorship, competition, and scholarships, JSHS provides pathways to success for young scientists and engineers. The Point Foundation Flagship Scholarship empowers LGBTQ+ and ally students who are earning their undergraduate, graduate, & doctoral degrees at accredited colleges in the United States by offering financial support, community resources, and professional development.
