Foundation Excellence Award

At the Texas A&M Foundation, we are dedicated to expanding access to higher education and empowering qualified students to pursue a transformative experience at Texas A&M University. Through our scholarship programs, we support hundreds of incoming freshmen and current students each year, helping them unlock their full academic potential.

Thanks to the generosity of our donors, Foundation Excellence Awards are administered by the Texas A&M Foundation to provide crucial financial assistance while fulfilling donors’ intentions to support students from diverse backgrounds. Whether recognizing academic achievement, leadership or resilience in overcoming challenges, these scholarships benefit students from historically underserved communities, economically disadvantaged circumstances and underrepresented regions.

There are currently over 700 students at Texas A&M receiving a Foundation Excellence Award. Each scholarship empowers students to focus on their studies, leadership and service while reducing the burden of financial stress. As a result, recipients gain access to life-changing experiences at Texas A&M, fostering academic excellence and personal growth.

Entering Freshmen:
Application opens Oct. 15. Priority will be given to applications received by March 10. Available to students applying for admission to Texas A&M as incoming freshmen.

Continuing Students:
Application opens Oct. 15. Priority will be given to applications received by March 10. Available to current Texas A&M and Blinn TEAM students.
