This scholarship aims to contribute financially to reducing barriers for students with disabilities who are pursuing social work education. Any high school, undergraduate, or graduate student who has a disability or is chronically ill or neurodivergent may apply for this scholarship if they’re pursuing social work. Graduates of accredited social work programs are also encouraged to apply, as funds can be used towards student loan payments.

The mission of the Paul Bernot Memorial Foundation Scholarship is to provide financial assistance to a student with a passion for fitness/athletics who is a legal resident of the United States of America, is pursuing post-high school education, and who is currently or has previously been diagnosed/treated for cancer. To be eligible, applicants must: have a 3.0 GPA; be accepted and enrolled as a student in at least two classes (typically six credit hours) at an accredited college, university, or trade school in the United States for the upcoming Fall; and complete an essay (up to 500 words): “How I will represent and carry out the mission of the Foundation: to empower athletes impacted by cancer to pursue their passions.”

Established in 2013, the Lydia R. Laurendeau Scholarship Fund provides renewable scholarship support to young women who are pursuing post-secondary education in either science or engineering at a four-year university. There is a preference for applicants demonstrating a connection to their Franco-American heritage. Eligible applicants will be female graduating seniors from a Maine high school who are pursuing a major in science or engineering at a four-year university. Preference will be shown to applicants who demonstrate an interest in their Franco-American heritage. The total number of recipients and the maximum dollar amounts will vary.

Scholarships are funded by the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid (OSFA) and by each of the 10 colleges of NC State University. In addition, the university is privileged to offer distinctive programs, such as the Park and Caldwell Scholarships. We also accept scholarships from other organizations and foundations. The Browning Endowment makes these and other scholarships possible. Mr. William C. Browning established a distinguished career in the mining industry and was the first person to receive the Wall Scholarship in the School of Mines at the University of Utah. To show his gratitude for the scholarship, he established a generous endowment to assist future generations of mining engineers in their quest for a college education. The Browning scholarship is available to current students, resident and nonresident, entering freshmen, and transfer students from community colleges who are interested in pursuing a degree in mining engineering at The University of Utah. Applicants must have a 3.0 or higher GPA in high school or college work and a strong background in mathematics, physics and chemistry. In accordance with that worthy goal, the family of Triffle P. and Annie G. Ivancovich have made a generous donation to establish Davis Odd Fellows Charities, Inc. (a 501(c)(3) corporation) to operate a scholarship fund for the benefit of orphans and young men and women who grew up in the foster care system. This prize, offered by the Washington Map Society since 1994, recognizes academic achievement in the history of cartography and honors the late Dr. Walter W. Ristow. The competition seeks research papers in the field of the history of maps, completed in fulfillment of coursework requirements or based on original research. This prize is open to full or part-time undergraduate and graduate students, and individuals in first-year doctoral studies at accredited U. S. or foreign colleges and universities. The Kenneth W. Payne Student Prize is presented each year by the Association for Queer Anthropology (AQA) to a graduate or undergraduate student in acknowledgement of outstanding anthropological work on 1) a lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender topic, or 2) a critical interrogation of sexualities and genders more broadly defined. Submissions are encouraged from graduate or undergraduate students in any of the four fields of anthropology. To be eligible for consideration, work should have been completed while the applicant was still enrolled as a student. Research papers as well as visual media (e.g. documentary film) are eligible for submission for this competition.

The American Indian Medical Scholarship Award Program is being offered to give students of American Indian descent the opportunity to pursue careers in nursing, and jobs in health care and health education. To be eligible for a scholarship, the candidate must be: - 1/4 American Indian, enrolled in a tribe. The Morton B. Duggan, Jr. Memorial Education Recognition Award is awarded to a student currently enrolled in an accredited respiratory care education program. Preference given to candidates from Georgia and South Carolina.

These are need-based awards for Baltimore City public high school graduates whose student aid index and financial aid package total less than the cost to attend college. Students awarded a CollegeBound Foundation Last Dollar Grant are eligible for a renewable grant of up to $3,000 annually. These Grants are gift money that does not have to be repaid. Each year one deserving applicant will receive $ 750.00 (Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars) via the Nat Sales Memorial Award.

Student teachers enrolled in a Latin certification program in Texas are encouraged to apply for the $500 TCA Gareth Morgan Student Teacher Scholarship. Undergraduate advisors should inform all student teachers of this scholarship. Applicants must reside in Texas to be considered. Applicants for professional scholarships must be TCA members. Applicants must be student teaching in Latin and must be maintaining a 3.00 GPA in Latin or classics, with a 2.85 GPA overall. The monies received will be used during the semester the recipient is student teaching. This scholarship seeks to support students who are committed to using their medical passions to improve access to healthcare in underserved communities. The Joseph Zukin Jr. Educational Opportunity Scholarship is presented to any graduate or undergraduate student whose academic record and community activities reflect the entrepreneurial spirit demonstrated by Mr. Zukin in his lifetime. Special consideration is given to applicants from marginalized communities and to students who have an understanding, connection, or relationship to the OOH advertising industry. Candidates for the scholarship will be selected on the basis of their academic performance, career goals, and commitment to the spirit of entrepreneurism and community engagement that distinguished the life of Mr. Zukin. Attorney Terry Bryant will be awarding his firm’s annual college scholarship to one high school senior in the nation. This scholarship gives students an opportunity to help fund their college education. The Student Video Contest is aimed at helping students gain a better understanding of the importance of transportation infrastructure investment to the U.S. economy and quality of life, and to learn more about the industry and potential transportation construction career opportunities. ARTBA’s Research & Education Division sponsors the competition, which is divided into two age groups: Elementary, middle or high school students Post-secondary, college and graduate students Winners are selected in each age group. The Scholarship Committee selects recipients quarterly, aiming to award scholarships to women who demonstrate a strong passion and determination for careers in the automotive, mobility, and related fields. Formerly known as ForEverglades Scholarships & Fellowships, these awards are intended to support outstanding graduate research in areas related to the current and future restored Everglades ecosystem.

The G.B. Mann Scholarship is awarded to current high school senior students who attend school in the Dallas Branch region (Collin, Cooke, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Kaufman, Navarro, and Rockwall Counties) and who will be attending an institution of higher learning in the upcoming fall semester in pursuit of a degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or Environmental Engineering. The American Coal Ash Association Educational Foundation (ACAAEF) is accepting applications for scholarships from students with an interest in the beneficial use of coal combustion products (CCP). Both currently-enrolled graduate and undergraduate students are invited to apply. The awards will be based on essays, coursework, academic credentials, and recommendations. The Jorian Kuran Harris (Shugg) Helping Heart Foundation Scholarship will support a student in one of these fields as they explore what a career in business will look like for them. High school seniors and Undergraduate students who have at least a 2.5 GPA are eligible to apply if they are planning to pursue a career in business or entrepreneurship.

The Iowa Space Grant Consortium (ISGC) will award scholarships for undergraduate students pursuing a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) disciplines that support NASA’s mission. For the Incoming Freshman Merit Scholarship, applicants must: be a US citizen; have a 3.0 GPA; and be enrolled full-time at DMACC, Drake, ISU, Loras, Morningside, UI or UNI. The Undergraduate STEM Research Scholarship has similar requirements, except applicants must be currently enrolled undergraduates. Funding is competitively awarded based on complete application information including academic qualifications, research project, NASA alignment, and faculty letter of recommendation. The City of Lawrenceburg established the Paul E. “Truck” Tremain Memorial Scholarship Program at the Dearborn Community Foundation (DCF) with the intent to financially assist graduates of Lawrenceburg High School (Indiana) who pursue a post-secondary education and who meet specific eligibility criteria. The current scholarship is $1,800 per recipient for up to four consecutive years of post-secondary education. Requirements: 1. Students must have attended Lawrenceburg High School (LHS) and resided within the Lawrenceburg School Corporation boundaries for at least three (3) full years of his/her high school career; 2.
