The Corliss Knapp Engle Scholarship in Horticulture
Purpose To encourage the development of research, documentation, and teaching skills in the field of horticulture. Education For undergraduate, graduate, advanced degree candidates, or non-degree seeking students above the high school level. Eligibility Open to college undergraduates, graduate students, and advanced degree candidates, or non-degree-seeking applicants above the high school level. Open to U.S. Citizens and permanent residents who are currently and actively enrolled in a U.S.-based institution. Due to IRS restrictions, the GCA is unable to fund awards for international applicants. Provisions Funds one or more scholarships annually at $3,000 to support study at an accredited college, university, or major botanic garden or arboretum. Projects may include but are not restricted to plant propagation, photographic documentation of studies and research projects, the acquisition of skills for working with horticulture collections, and research in horticulture in the broadest sense.
