The Point Foundation Community College Scholarship empowers LGBTQ+ and ally students who are earning their associate degree or intend to transfer to a four-year college or university in the United States by offering financial support, community resources, and professional development. Scholarship Details Point Community College Scholars receive financial aid, mentoring, leadership development, and transfer support. Amount: $2,400 per semester or $4,800 per academic year. Must be enrolled or intending to enroll at an accredited community college in the United States, including Hawaii and Alaska. Be enrolled or intend to enroll in an associate degree or cosmetology degree/certificate program. Must have 1-2 years of community college left and either (1) intend to transfer to a bachelor’s degree program at a four-year institution OR (2) graduate with an associate degree. Montana State University awards several million dollars in scholarships and waiver awards to new students who enter in the fall of each year. You might qualify for some of these scholarships based on your academic record, financial need, group affiliation, or a combination of the three. If you qualify, some scholarships and awards are automatically awarded when you are offered admission to Montana State University. The School of Art awards a minimum of 2 $3,000 scholarships every year to high school seniors based upon portfolio requirements. The scholarship is based primarily on a portfolio review of an uploaded PDF of work, grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher, and a short essay. Portfolios should consist of 10 works and all work must be submitted electronically with the application (as a single PDF file), no photographs or original work will be accepted. The essay requirement should be approximately 1 page single-spaced essay based on the applicant’s personal art experience and what you hope to gain in your chosen art profession. Those students wishing to pursue Studio Arts (painting, drawing, ceramics, printmaking, metalsmithing / jewelry and sculpture); Graphic Design and Art Education are eligible. The Cox Scholarship, sponsored by the ASA Committee on Women in Statistics and Caucus for Women in Statistics, was established in 1989 to encourage more women to enter statistically oriented professions. Two scholarship recipients are selected each year: one to a woman in or entering the early stages of graduate training (MS or PhD) and one to a woman in a more advanced stage of training. This scholarship aims to help aspiring medical professionals focus on their studies and navigate the demanding and costly journey toward becoming healthcare leaders. Any high school senior, undergraduate, or graduate student from a single-parent household may apply for this scholarship opportunity if they have demonstrated resilience, perseverance, and a commitment to overcoming personal, financial, and academic obstacles. The ASPET Summer Undergraduate Research Fellow (SURF) Awards introduce undergraduate students to pharmacology research. Their goal is to use authentic, mentored research experiences in pharmacology to heighten student interest in careers in research and related health care disciplines. If awarded, ASPET will provide a student stipend for a minimum of ten weeks participation in the program. Undergraduate students conducting pharmacology-related research including, but not limited to, students representing departments of pharmacology, toxicology, pharmaceutical sciences, and/or biological chemistry are encouraged to apply for this program. The Dan and Vicky Hancock Scholarship for Mechanical Engineering Excellence, established by Dan and Vicky Hancock, provides financial support for students pursuing college degrees in the field of mechanical engineering. A Kettering graduate, Dan enjoyed a 43-year automotive engineering career at General Motors where he served as Vice President of Global Strategic Alliances. A longtime SAE member, Dan is an SAE Fellow who served on the SAE Foundation Board of Trustees, the SAE International Board of Directors and is the former SAE International President. In 2011, Dan was elected to the National Academy of Engineering - one of the highest honors an engineer can receive.

The Donald and Barbara Mozley Scholarship provides financial support for students pursuing an engineering degree at an ABET-accredited college or university. Don Mozley was a renowned broadcast journalist who spent 62 years working for CBS Radio and KCBS/74 in San Francisco. Hired by CBS in 1942, Don covered such historic events as WWII, the atomic bomb tests at Bikini the presidential campaigns of Nixon and Eisenhower, and the Senate race of Robert Taft. He received the Excellence in Journalism Award from the Society of Professional Journalists' Northern California Chapter in recognition of his distinguished broadcasting career.

In an effort to get students committed to the cause of deleting cyberbullying, we are offering the Delete Cyberbullying Social Media Scholarship for high school and college students to help cover educational expenses. We want to raise awareness that much of cyberbullying takes place on social media. Those who spend more time on social media are more likely to be cyberbullied so it's important for students to be aware of the signs of cyberbullying. The Act of Kindness Scholarship supports students who are committed to helping others in their schools or communities. Applicants must: - Be currently enrolled or plan to be enrolled part-time or full-time in an accredited U.S. college or university. Vocational/technical, two-year, four-year, or graduate institutions are eligible. -Be a high school junior or senior, undergraduate student, or graduate student - Have a grade point average of 2.5 or above on a 4.0 system - Recipients must provide an official transcript confirming their reported GPA and proof of enrollment. No transcript or proof of enrollment is required until after students are selected as winners.

The NAWIC Construction Trades Scholarship supports students enrolled in construction-related training programs, helping them gain the necessary skills and knowledge for careers in the construction industry. This scholarship is open to high school seniors and students enrolled in approved programs such as community colleges, technical schools, or apprenticeship training. Recipients are selected based on their commitment to obtaining training in a construction-related craft or trade.

The NAWIC Founders' Scholarship Foundation (NFSF) assists in providing the construction industry with trained employees through higher education. The construction industry encompasses almost every professional discipline, including trades, project management, administrative, legal, financial, insurance, and business owner. The NAWIC Founders Scholarship Foundation (NFSF) is here to help. Each year we are pleased to award over $100,000 to worthy recipients in construction-related programs. To be eligible for the Undergraduate Scholarship, applicants must be currently enrolled in a construction-related degree program at a school in the United States and must have a least one term remaining in a course of study leading to a degree or an associate degree in a construction-related field. The Shared Energy Future Foundation now offers a range of scholarships to help the next generation of Western States students succeed and innovate in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM), as well as other disciplines related to energy. The Geiger Scholarship offers financial support for students interested in expanding their educational horizons through off-island enrichment and travel experiences, including summer camp, semester study abroad, and gap year programs. Recognizing the need for a well-educated workforce, Governor C.L. “Butch” Otter and the Idaho Legislature established the Opportunity Scholarship to remove barriers to higher education and prepare college/university graduates to enter the workforce. The Opportunity Scholarship awards eligible applicants up to $3,500 per academic year and is renewable for up to four years. The scholarship funds are available per academic year. Administered by the AWS Foundation, this scholarship is part of a prestigious national scholarship program offering over $700,000 in donor-funded awards annually to students in welding or related disciplines.

The The Barbara and Richard Couch Hypertherm Scholarship will be awarded to a student pursuing a two or four-year degree in an engineering or technical major in the welding or cutting fields (i.e., applicable areas of mechanical, software, process, electrical engineering). To be eligible, applicants must: either be currently enrolled in their final year of high school or equivalent program or must have a minimum high school diploma or equivalent; and have a 2.8 GPA. WOSL- Women’s Overseas Service League – is a national organization of women who have served overseas in or with the Armed Forces. American women who had served overseas with the military forces during World War One founded WOSL in 1921. WOSL, in existence since 1921, has accomplished much during the years since its inception. Women's Overseas Service League scholarship assistance may be granted to women who are committed to advancement in military or other public service careers, have demonstrated such commitment through life experiences and have successfully completed a minimum of 12 semester or 18 quarter hours of study in any institution of higher education in a program leading to an academic degree, associate degree or higher. The program may be professional or technical in nature; agree to enroll for a minimum of six semester or nine quarter hours of study each academic period; agree to maintain academic standards. Awards may be renewed for a second year. Scholarships may be renewed for a second year if the recipient maintains and reports satisfactory progress. The number of recipients will vary.

The IAD Foundation will award scholarships each spring. Applicants must be committed to pursuing automotive-related studies at a two- or four-year post-secondary institution and must demonstrate satisfactory performance in those studies. Students who have received scholarships come from all over Iowa. Most attend an Iowa community college. Many scholarship winners study to be automotive technicians, while others study collision repair or pursue diesel training. Dollar amounts for the scholarships will vary. Applications run from the winter until the due date.

Scholarships will be awarded annually to an employee at a USCTI member company or a student nominated by a USCTI member. The Scholarship will be based on academic performance, written essay, and referral from the USCTI member company and/or school. Scholarship funds will be transferred directly to the institution and applied to cover costs of the Scholarship recipient’s courses, tuition, fees, books, etc. Applications run from the Fall until the deadline. Eligible Scholarship recipients are high school seniors who will enter a college or a vocational school program in the fall; who are already enrolled in a program; or an employee of a USCTI member company seeking additional training. Family members of a member of the USCTI Scholarship Committee or the USCTI Board of Directors are not eligible. A Scholarship recipient must stay enrolled and attend classes through the academic year, and receive passing grades. Failure to do so may result in loss of the Scholarship and a requirement to pay back the Scholarship. To ensure compliance with this requirement, the scholarship recipient must provide USCTI Staff with a certified copy of his or her transcript as soon as possible after each grading cycle.

Beloved Arise, a national organization dedicated to celebrating and empowering LGBTQIA+ youth of faith, is hosting our annual Queer Youth of Faith National Essay Contest. Open to high school seniors residing in the United States, this essay contest awards $10,000 in scholarships and creates a platform for LGBTQ+ youth of any faith, religion, or spiritual community to share their stories.

This scholarship is for those with epilepsy or who serve as a caregiver for someone with epilepsy. This scholarship is open to those enrolling in a trade school program or higher who have epilepsy or those who care for someone who does. Awards are given to those with a history of extracurricular activities, academic and personal achievement, and role-model behavior. Applicants must also provide a medical history form for themselves or the person they care for and a recommendation from a medical professional. If you're not close with a healthcare worker, you may find an alternate person, though this should be a last resort. Thirty scholarships worth up to $5,000 and three worth up to $10,000 are available.

The Grand Rapids Community Foundation's Economic Club Scholarship is offered to a student who is an undergraduate pursuing a degree in business. The Gordon Hay Scholarship Fund is a merit-based scholarship established in memory of Gordon Hay, an organizational development professional, who was passionate about transformational change through authentic engagement of people’s hearts and minds in the strategic work of business. Scholarship Program Overview Washington State PTA (WSPTA) offers four $2,500 scholarships to graduating seniors from Washington state public high schools with an active PTA, who will be starting college (either two-year or four-year) in the fall. My dad was a welder for much of his life and was passionate about the skilled trades. He was also concerned about the gap in the need for skilled tradespeople and the number of people pursuing this career path. In honor of my dad, we have established the Uniball's Skilled Trades Scholarship. The Women at Microsoft Scholarship supports graduating high school seniors who identify as women, non-binary, gender fluid, or transgender women, and who are pursuing undergraduate studies in technology, engineering, math, or computer science. The NPCA Foundation is sponsoring scholarships for deserving students pursuing a career related to the precast concrete industry. The Seattle Public Library Foundation is pleased to host the Stimson Bullitt Civic Courage Scholarship competition. High school seniors and undergraduate students who live, work, or attend school in Seattle are invited to participate. The competition asks students to write an essay about an individual or group of individuals from Washington state who have demonstrated civic courage on an issue of importance to the community at great personal, political or professional risk. Applicants must reside, attend school or work in Seattle, be 13 years or older, have an active Seattle Public Library card, and be a current high school senior or undergraduate enrolled at a two or four year college. Stimson Bullitt was a lawyer, decorated soldier, outdoorsman, civil rights activist, developer, philanthropist, broadcaster, environmentalist, and community leader. He believed that courageous civic leadership could improve the lives of people in our community both now and in the future. The Stimson Bullitt Civic Courage Scholarship Competition is designed to engage students in consideration of the idea of civic courage by writing an essay of between 1,500 and 2,000 words about an individual or group of individuals in Washington State who demonstrated civic courage on an issue of importance to the community.

Created to encourage students to pursue foodservice supply chain management careers, the David R. Parsley Scholarship offers undergraduate students scholarships ranging from $2,500 to $10,000. Students should apply January through March. Ideal candidates should be pursuing a post-secondary degree in the restaurant, foodservice and hospitality industry, as well as for similar awards.

Scholarship awards will be made in an amount established by the Trustees of the Fund. Funding is obtained by donations from local home builders associations and individual members and may be in the form of cash, bonds, stock, real estate, etc. Applications are due by March 15th of each year. Dylan’s Journey Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to one student with Neurofibromatosis (NF) and/or a learning disability of any variety. High school, undergraduate, and graduate school students are eligible to apply. To apply, either submit a video or write an essay that tells about your experience with NF or your learning disability, your motivation for pursuing higher education, and why you feel you are a good candidate for this scholarship.

This scholarship aims to honor the life of Adam Montes by supporting underrepresented students on the road to higher education. Any LGBTQ+ high school student who is an underrepresented minority and will be a first-generation college student may apply for this scholarship, but those interested in pursuing education degrees are preferred.

This scholarship seeks to honor the memory of Albert Howie by supporting students who are pursuing higher education. Any high school senior, high school graduate, or undergraduate student who is attending Del Mar College in Texas or will be attending in the fall may apply for this scholarship opportunity. However, applicants who are pursuing paramedic certification are preferred.

This scholarship continues Patty's dedication to helping others and giving them the opportunity to change their lives. Any female undergraduate student in Wisconsin who has at least a 3.0 GPA may apply for this scholarship if they’re pursuing healthcare, but mothers and adult students returning to school are preferred.

The Aluminum Extruders Council (AEC) and its educational and research organization, the ET Foundation (ETF), are inviting students interested in product design, industrial design, design engineering, manufacturing, and other fields from around the world to share their vision for the future using aluminum extrusions.

As one small way to help the families of first responders, the A Heroes Family Scholarship exists to provide financial support for a current or former student who has lost a parent/guardian or spouse to an on-duty tragedy of a first responder. This includes those in law enforcement, fire, or the military. The scholarship is open to students at any education level, above and including, high school seniors. Those pursuing education at a 2 or 4-year college/university, graduate school, a professional certificate program, or a trade or vocational school are all welcome to apply.

Talent is evenly distributed, but opportunity is not. Although African-Americans comprise 13.4% of the US population, just 1% of start-ups receiving venture funding have Black founders. While entrepreneurship is one of the most impactful ways to move communities and the country forward, the pipeline of funded entrepreneurs does not reflect the diversity of our country.

The Kallstrom scholarship will be annually awarded to one graduating Respiratory Care Student in South Dakota and one in Minnesota. The American Respiratory Care Foundation through the establishment of the Joyce Kallstrom Memorial fund provides the funding to support this scholarship. If chosen, the graduating student will receive $750 and a one-year membership to the AARC.

The American Galvanizers Association (AGA) Scholarship is available to full- or part-time undergraduate or graduate students enrolled in an accredited college or university in North America studying architecture, civil engineering, structural engineering, construction management, material science, or a related field.
