The Department of Art & Art History offers numerous scholarships to students working on a BA in art history or a BFA in studio art. All full-time continuing art and art history majors, incoming, and transfer students currently enrolled at the University of Utah may apply for the following: Carmen Morton Christensen, Grace Durkee Meldrum, Jack and Florence Sears, Thomas and Susan Rugh, Florence Ware, Leone S. McGowan Memorial, and the Departmental scholarships. Please follow the instructions below to apply for these awards. The Ethel A. Rolapp, E.J. Bird, and Howard Clark scholarships are also available to students, but by faculty invitation only.

Montana State University awards several million dollars in scholarships and waiver awards to new students who enter in the fall of each year. You might qualify for some of these scholarships based on your academic record, financial need, group affiliation, or a combination of the three. If you qualify, some scholarships and awards are automatically awarded when you are offered admission to Montana State University. The School of Art awards a minimum of 2 $3,000 scholarships every year to high school seniors based upon portfolio requirements. The scholarship is based primarily on a portfolio review of an uploaded PDF of work, grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher, and a short essay. Portfolios should consist of 10 works and all work must be submitted electronically with the application (as a single PDF file), no photographs or original work will be accepted. The essay requirement should be approximately 1 page single-spaced essay based on the applicant’s personal art experience and what you hope to gain in your chosen art profession. Those students wishing to pursue Studio Arts (painting, drawing, ceramics, printmaking, metalsmithing / jewelry and sculpture); Graphic Design and Art Education are eligible. Students must also be a declared art major in one of these areas in order to accept the scholarship. The deadline for this scholarship is the last week of February each year.

The Cox Scholarship, sponsored by the ASA Committee on Women in Statistics and Caucus for Women in Statistics, was established in 1989 to encourage more women to enter statistically oriented professions. Two scholarship recipients are selected each year: one to a woman in or entering the early stages of graduate training (MS or PhD) and one to a woman in a more advanced stage of training. Scholarship recipients receive $1,000. The committee also selects honorable mentions each year if applicable. Applications are due by February 23 and require the following: - Candidate's CV - Personal essay (minimum length one page, double-spaced) - Three reference letters - not to exceed two pages each and saved as a .pdf file - are to be uploaded by the writer using this link. Each year NPVA offers merit-based scholarships for students who are committed to volunteering and making a difference in their communities. Our scholarships are open to students pursuing undergraduate and graduate degrees.

As a not-for-profit credit union, we believe that education is key to a better life. Our scholarship program helps graduating high school seniors reduce the financial burden of postsecondary education. Since 1997, we’ve awarded nearly $800,000 in scholarships to more than 150 students. Three of the six scholarships awarded each year are named for the people who represented the credit union’s ideals and commitment to service. The Dan and Vicky Hancock Scholarship for Mechanical Engineering Excellence, established by Dan and Vicky Hancock, provides financial support for students pursuing college degrees in the field of mechanical engineering. A Kettering graduate, Dan enjoyed a 43-year automotive engineering career at General Motors where he served as Vice President of Global Strategic Alliances. A longtime SAE member, Dan is an SAE Fellow who served on the SAE Foundation Board of Trustees, the SAE International Board of Directors and is the former SAE International President. In 2011, Dan was elected to the National Academy of Engineering - one of the highest honors an engineer can receive.

The Donald and Barbara Mozley Scholarship provides financial support for students pursuing an engineering degree at an ABET-accredited college or university. Don Mozley was a renowned broadcast journalist who spent 62 years working for CBS Radio and KCBS/74 in San Francisco. Hired by CBS in 1942, Don covered such historic events as WWII, the atomic bomb tests at Bikini the presidential campaigns of Nixon and Eisenhower, and the Senate race of Robert Taft. He received the Excellence in Journalism Award from the Society of Professional Journalists' Northern California Chapter in recognition of his distinguished broadcasting career.

In an effort to get students committed to the cause of deleting cyberbullying, we are offering the Delete Cyberbullying Social Media Scholarship for high school and college students to help cover educational expenses. We want to raise awareness that much of cyberbullying takes place on social media. Those who spend more time on social media are more likely to be cyberbullied so it's important for students to be aware of the signs of cyberbullying. How to Apply: To apply, you must be a high school student (9th-12th grader), college student or graduate student attending or planning to enter an accredited U.S. college or university. Selection is based on the written statement and focused on creativity, content and commitment to the cause of deleting cyberbullying. Deadline: February 28, 2026 Amount: $1,000

The Geiger Scholarship offers financial support for students interested in expanding their educational horizons through off-island enrichment and travel experiences, including summer camp, semester study abroad, and gap year programs. The application portal opens September 1st, 2025, and closes March 1st, 2026. Students are eligible for up to 4 Geiger Scholarships: once in grades 6-8, once in grades 9-12, once in college and once for a gap year. Must meet one or more of the following requirements: - Middle school through college students living on one of Maine’s year-round, unbridged islands - Currently enrolled in or graduated from the highest grade level available at your island school - Magnet student with a demonstrated commitment to their island school and enrolled in at least their second year or have plans to return for a second year.

Recognizing the need for a well-educated workforce, Governor C.L. “Butch” Otter and the Idaho Legislature established the Opportunity Scholarship to remove barriers to higher education and prepare college/university graduates to enter the workforce. The Opportunity Scholarship awards eligible applicants up to $3,500 per academic year and is renewable for up to four years. The scholarship funds are available per academic year. Recipients must renew each year by March 1 and are eligible to receive the scholarship for a maximum of four years. Eligibility: To qualify for the scholarship, a student must meet all of the following criteria: - Have an unweighted, cumulative GPA of 2.7 or above - Be an Idaho resident - Graduated or will graduate from an Idaho high school or its equivalent or Idaho home school (GED/HSE from Idaho) - Complete the State Board of Education scholarship application by March 1 - FAFSA Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid by March 1 - Maintain satisfactory academic progress for financial aid purposes. This scholarship seeks to honor the memory of Madison Keith by supporting female students who share Madison’s calling to nursing. Any female undergraduate student who is pursuing nursing may apply for this scholarship if she’s a California resident.

My dad was a welder for much of his life and was passionate about the skilled trades. He was also concerned about the gap in the need for skilled tradespeople and the number of people pursuing this career path. In honor of my dad, we have established the Uniball's Skilled Trades Scholarship. With a focus on helping the next generation of welders pay for trade schooling, we will also consider all applicants pursuing a skilled trade such as electricians, plumbers, and more. The ideal applicant for this scholarship: Will be or is going to a trade school – welding, electrician, plumbing, etc. Has overcome some personal adversity. Is a high school senior or currently at a trade school.

Despite facing challenges as a foster care youth, Jamie aspired to become a social worker to make a positive impact on the lives of others with similar experiences. Her infectious smile and determination inspired those around her, leading to the initiation of this scholarship. The Jamie Anderson Scholarship aims to support and encourage young individuals who, like Jamie, have a desire to pursue a college degree despite facing difficult circumstances. Dylan’s Journey Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to one student with Neurofibromatosis (NF) and/or a learning disability of any variety. High school, undergraduate, and graduate school students are eligible to apply. To apply, either submit a video or write an essay that tells about your experience with NF or your learning disability, your motivation for pursuing higher education, and why you feel you are a good candidate for this scholarship.

This scholarship aims to honor the life of Adam Montes by supporting underrepresented students on the road to higher education. Any LGBTQ+ high school student who is an underrepresented minority and will be a first-generation college student may apply for this scholarship, but those interested in pursuing education degrees are preferred.

Any graduating senior at Hixson High School in Tennessee may apply for this scholarship opportunity. Applicants should demonstrate perseverance, strong character, and a desire to make a positive impact. Students should show good judgment, responsible decision-making, should be purpose-driven, and should face adversity with resilience.

This scholarship continues Patty's dedication to helping others and giving them the opportunity to change their lives. Any female undergraduate student in Wisconsin who has at least a 3.0 GPA may apply for this scholarship if they’re pursuing healthcare, but mothers and adult students returning to school are preferred.

As one small way to help the families of first responders, the A Heroes Family Scholarship exists to provide financial support for a current or former student who has lost a parent/guardian or spouse to an on-duty tragedy of a first responder. This includes those in law enforcement, fire, or the military. The scholarship is open to students at any education level, above and including, high school seniors. Those pursuing education at a 2 or 4-year college/university, graduate school, a professional certificate program, or a trade or vocational school are all welcome to apply.

Talent is evenly distributed, but opportunity is not. Although African-Americans comprise 13.4% of the US population, just 1% of start-ups receiving venture funding have Black founders. While entrepreneurship is one of the most impactful ways to move communities and the country forward, the pipeline of funded entrepreneurs does not reflect the diversity of our country.

The Kallstrom scholarship will be annually awarded to one graduating Respiratory Care Student in South Dakota and one in Minnesota. The American Respiratory Care Foundation through the establishment of the Joyce Kallstrom Memorial fund provides the funding to support this scholarship. If chosen, the graduating student will receive $750 and a one-year membership to the AARC.

This scholarship seeks to support undocumented students so they have the resources necessary to thrive in college. Any student who is not a U.S. citizen and has community service or volunteering experience may apply for this scholarship.

Any aspiring teacher who is a graduate student in North Carolina currently studying education may apply for this scholarship.

MASWE = Men’s Auxiliary Society of Women Engineers MASWE was formed in 1968 by the husbands, brothers, fathers and colleagues who believed that engineering is a viable career choice for women and the cause needed support. MASWE is a tribute to men who supported women in engineering. It provides financial assistance to female students pursuing ABET-accredited undergraduate or graduate programs in engineering, engineering technology, or related fields. The scholarship aims to empower women in STEM and recognizes their potential in engineering.

Lieba’s Legacy Scholarship is intended to further Lieba Joran’s mission of nurturing kindness, pursuing justice and creating harmony in society. Eligible to apply are undergraduate students with a min. 3.5 GPA looking to pursue a career in psychology or social work. Preference will be given to homeschooled students. To apply, write an essay explaining how your career goals will benefit traditionally misunderstood, gifted children like Lieba.

This scholarship aims to honor Jimmy Cardenas by supporting undergraduate students in Texas with similar aspirations to also serve their community. Students who are building a better community through personal leadership activities may apply, while those currently enrolled in a college or university criminal justice degree program are preferred. Underrepresented minorities and first-generation students are encouraged to apply!

The Colegrave Seabrook Foundation International Scholarship operates in cooperation with the David Colegrave Foundation in London, England. Each year there will be an exchange of students between the U.S. and Europe, alternating between the two countries. Scholarship awards of $4,500 will be made. U.S. students should apply for this scholarship in even-numbered years (2022, 2024, etc.)

The prize includes $1,000 and recognition for groundbreaking monographs in women's studies that makes significant multicultural feminist contributions to women of color/transnational scholarship. The prize honors Gloria Anzaldúa, a valued and long-active member of the National Women's Studies Association.

The Freedom From Religion Foundation has announced its 2025 essay competitions for freethinking students, offering $70,000 (or more) in total scholarships. Each of these four contests has 10 top prizes. The contests cater to students in various age and class ranges. Students may only enter one FFRF contest annually and may not enter a contest if they have previously won an award in that particular contest.

This scholarship seeks to honor the memory of Solomon Vann by supporting students in Alabama who have encountered mental illness either themselves, a family member, a friend, or an acquaintance.

1st Financial Bank USA (1FBUSA) wants to celebrate those who recognize the importance of pursuing educational and financial goals with the 1st Financial Bank USA Financial Goals Scholarship. United States residents 18 or older who are planning to enroll or currently enrolled in a college degree program are eligible to apply.
