In an effort to alleviate some of that financial stress, we have proudly offered the Nicolet Law Scholarship since 2020. The application is open year-round. Each year, one winner is selected for the Spring semester, and one winner is selected for the Fall semester. Each scholarship recipient is award a $5,000 scholarship for an outstanding video essay that exemplifies what it means to be a Nicolet Law Scholar. - Must be a current or future full-time undergrad or graduate student at any two- or four-year accredited US college or university. - No specific areas of study, concentrations, majors, etc. required to apply. - Must be in good academic standing. - If under the age of 18, must provide written permission from parent or guardian.

The Merchant Exchange Scholarship Fund is dedicated to supporting the educational aspirations of students pursuing or advancing careers in Maritime Affairs and International Trade. Our vision is to fortify the local and national Maritime industry by fostering education and industry engagement.

The Labroots Summer Research Scholarship provides $1,000 in funding to one undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a STEM degree to help offset costs associated with conducting summer research. This merit-based scholarship aims to support students working on research projects where resources such as equipment or software may not be readily available. Open to students globally, Labroots encourages applicants to stay in science and reach their academic and professional goals.

PayrollOrg will award one (1) $5,000 scholarship and two (2) Graduation cap on diploma$1,000 scholarships, open to high school juniors, seniors, and individuals pursuing or planning to pursue higher education or further learning. Scholarships will be awarded based on participants submitting an essay (1,500 words or less) or video (1-2 minutes in length). The topic for the contest is: How can understanding your paycheck help you handle your money better as a student?

Open to applicants who are accepted or enrolled in an accredited university, college or vocational/technical school in either an undergraduate or graduate level program. To qualify for a Fishing Heritage Scholarship, an Applicant must: Be either the: 1. Direct Descendant of a licensed California commercial fisherman, including step-children/grandchildren or indirect descendant that is involved in the fishing industry. 2. Descendant of the current spouse of a licensed California commercial fisherman; or 3. Holder of a valid California commercial fishing license/or worked on a vessel licensed by the California Department of Fish & Wildlife for at least the past five (5) years. (Please note that the Central Coast Women for Fisheries, Inc. Scholarship Committee, in its sole discretion, may require any Applicant to furnish additional evidence of their qualifying under this provision.) 4. Have a minimum 2.0 cumulative grade point average (“C”).

MARIE BARNEY BOSTON SCHOLARSHIP FOUNDATION, INC awards scholarships to High School Seniors, Vocational and College Students. Scholarships are open to graduating high school seniors and current college students who have completed at least 50 hours of community service in high school OR 30 hours of community service in college. Applicants must be U.S. Citizents or legal Permanent Residents of the United States, and must have at least a 2.0 GPA to be eligible for this award. To apply students must submit three letters of recommendation, and an essay responding to the prompt on the scholarship provider's page.

The College Football Hall of Fame Foundation, in conjunction with Kia's "Accelerate the Good" Program, will fund five scholarships, worth $5,000, made available to high school seniors who will be attending a Historically Black College or University and students currently enrolled at a Historically Black College or University. The objective of this program centers around helping students afford the costs associated with attending college. Additionally, the College Football Hall of Fame, in conjunction with Kia, recognizes the need to help provide resources towards preserving Historically Black Colleges and Universities. Applicants for the Program must meet the following criteria: - Possess a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. - Have a demonstrated, unmet financial need. -Intended major in one of the following disciplines: Sciences – Biology, Chemistry, Pre-Medicine, Physics, Applied Sciences, Material Sciences; Technology – Aeronautics, Automotive Sciences, Computer Sciences, Mechanical Sciences, Technical/Vocational Majors (involving machines, computers, technologies); Engineering– All engineering fields, such as Applied, Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, etc.; Arts – Design, Graphics, Architecture, Fashion, Fine Arts, Studio Arts, Motion Pictures/Television; Entertainment Arts (other design- driven arts); Math – Math, Applied Math, Statistics. - Furthermore, there will be an effort to prioritize football student-athletes wishing to continue participating at the collegiate level, especially if their academic focus is related to the STEM disciplines.

Scholarships are open to students who have lost a parent/guardian, grandparent, sibling, or spouse to alcohol, drug, or prescription drug abuse. Eligibility: - Applicants must be a legal US or Canadian citizen and enrolled in a college, university, or trade school. For international schools, US sanctioned countries don’t qualify and the school must have wire transfer capabilities. - Applicants must have at least a 3.0 GPA - Applicants must have had a parent or guardian, grandparent, sibling, and/or spouse who passed away due to substance abuse.

Grant program is open to high school seniors who are direct descendants a direct descendant (child, grandchild, great-grandchild) of a member in good standing since 2022 of the Jewish War Veterans of the United States of America. Applicants must be a high school senior at the time of application and be accepted by an accredited college, university, community college, trade school, or school of nursing as a member of the freshman class entering in the fall of 2025.

Eligibility: - An applicant must be a direct descendant (child, grandchild, great-grandchild) of a member in good standing since 2022 of the Jewish War Veterans of the United States of America. - An applicant must be a high school senior at the time of application and be accepted by an accredited college, university, community college, trade school, or school of nursing as a member of the freshman class entering in the fall of 2025. - An applicant must provide significant, documented athletic achievement during his/her high school career.

Each year, Champion's legacy will be remembered when the fund provides a student scholarship to a deserving horticultural student. The Bigelow family considers student scholarships the most important commitment the horticultural industry can make to ensure the growth and development of the nursery and landscape industry. The Dr. Joseph L. Henry Scholarship is awarded to up to five incoming first-year dental students who excel academically, participate in extra-curricular activities, and demonstrate exceptional academic and professional promise, embodying Dr. Henry’s values of excellence, determination, and leadership. Recipients receive a $2,000 renewable scholarship for up to four years, contingent upon submission of an annual application, and evidence of academic excellence and student leadership. Eligibility Requirements and Criteria - Must be a U.S. citizen or have permanent resident status. - Must have received acceptance to a U.S. dental school accredited by ADA/CODA. - Have an undergraduate cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater. - Evidence community service, reflecting the ideals of respect and selflessness. The AKC Humane Fund’s mission is to promote the cause of responsible pet ownership. Our newest grant opportunity will provide scholarships for students who are pursuing educational programs that include responsible pet ownership in their curriculum. For example, individuals pursuing studies in veterinary medicine, veterinary technology, physical therapy, animal care, animal behavior, grooming and training may be eligible for this grant. The Fund plans to award five scholarships per year, totaling $10,000 annually, payable as tuition assistance to accredited institutions where students are enrolled in courses of study focusing on the care of pets. By helping to make education in these fields attainable for more students, we hope the result will be better educated owners and an improvement in the lives of pets in the long run.

The Eddie Bromiley Scholarship was created to honor his life by helping students that are continuing their education in the same direction that he did. Preference given to applicants who have participated in FFA or rodeo activities. The James A Wharton Scholarship was established at the Community Foundation of North Central Washington in 2017 to encourage and support students entering the collision repair industry and other trades. The scholarship supports students from Chelan or Douglas County who are planning to attend or currently attending a trade school, with priority given to those who are attending auto and/or collision repair programs. In memory of Katie Moore, the scholarship gives preference for students planning to specialize in pediatric nursing and those applicants with experience working with ill children and their families. The Wenatchee Valley Street Rods established a scholarship at the Community Foundation of NCW to provide educational assistance to students seeking further education in either the automotive field or health sciences at Wenatchee Valley College.

Open only to Black, Indigenous and Students of Color ages 17–21, who are either high school seniors graduating in spring 2025 who will be attending a North American college or university in fall 2025, or who are currently enrolled in a North American college or university. MAP is designed for students from or attending school on Maine's 15 year-round, un-bridged islands. Students may apply beginning in their junior year of high school and participate in programming during senior year with minimal time commitment that results in $1,500/year for up to four years ($6,000 total) toward post-secondary education or vocational training. REQUIREMENTS: - Resident of or attending high school on one of Maine's 15 year-round, un-bridged islands - Currently enrolled in or have graduated from the highest grade available at your island school - Current high school junior or senior - Extenuating circumstances regarding age and island residency considered on a case-by-case basis (including magnet student situations)

The Youth NABC is held during the Summer NABC, and is open to all ACBL Youth members (age 20 and under) with fewer than 5000 Masterpoints. Scholarships are awarded for Swiss Teams, Pairs and Sportsmanship. The Erin Berry Fund is available to help youth travel to the event. Applicants should pre-register by June 1st. A $4,000 college scholarship provided by the ACBL Educational Foundation is awarded to the winners of the National Youth Swiss Teams. (Award is divided equally between the team). Note: Funds can only be disbursed to universities, colleges, and secondary education facilities in the U.S. and Canada. All scholarship funds are disbursed to the educational institution and cannot be disbursed directly to an individual.

This scholarship was established to honor Pete and Mary and provide support for students pursing a degree in healthcare as their educational goals. Eligibility: - Current resident of Chelan or Douglas County pursuing an education in the field of healthcare (CNA training, nursing, radiologic technology, etc.) - Plan to attend an accredited educational program in the United States (for example, language classes, GED coursework, training/certificate programs, Associate’s degree, Bachelor’s degree, or other individual classes)

This needs-based scholarship is available to spouses or children of injured Washington workers whose injury while at work in Washington State resulted in a permanent inability to return to work (a pension under the claim) or death. Money is available for college undergraduates, technical school students, or other accredited schools. Scholarship Applications are due June 1st for the fall semester and November 1st for the winter or spring semester of each year for processing. Scholarships may be used for tuition, books, fees, room and board, and general living expenses. Scholarships are paid directly to the school where the student is enrolled full-time. Annual award amounts are based on available resources and need. The amount may range from $500 to $6,000 per year. **Kids’ Chance of Washington has established a fund to help eligible high school students with expenses associated with Running Start. The criteria are further explained in the Running Start Grant Application.

Great Hereford chefs of all ages are asked to think outside of the box and channel their inner Pioneer Woman or Gordon Ramsay and create the ultimate NJHA cooking show episode. This contest encourages creativity, communication, knowledge of Certified Hereford Beef’s end product, and ultimately having fun. Your creativity is your best friend – all great chefs are creative geniuses, and this is your moment to shine. The event is sponsored jointly by Certified Hereford Beef and the National Junior Hereford Association. This contest is available for all age divisions. RULES *See the application for all rules. 1. The Advanced Speech Contest is designed to encourage interest in promoting the beef industry and projecting Herefords in a positive image through public speaking. The emphasis on the Advanced Speech contest is to develop leaders who can not only speak in a public setting and represent the industry well. The National Hereford Women (NHW) sponsor the contest. RULES *See the application for all rules. INTERMEDIATE & SENIOR CONTEST ONLY 1. Contestants must be a member of the National Junior Hereford Association. 2. The intermediate division is for youth 14-17 and the senior division is for youth 18-21 as of Jan. 1. 3. Speeches will be 3 to 7 minutes in length. FUTURE PROFESSIONALS CONTEST In conjunction with the NJHA’s Bridging the Gap College and Career Fair, the objective of the contest is for NJHA members to create a resume based on factual work, experiences, education, etc., of the junior that can be used for future career and educational purposes. Resumes will be judged prior to the Junior National Hereford Expo each year. This is an Intermediate and Senior contest ONLY. Materials such as a resume and cover letter are due prior to the JNHE. The top senior and intermediate applicants based on their paperwork, will be required to attend the JNHE for a live interview with industry leaders and professionals concurrent with the Bridging the Gap event at the JNHE. Oral Reasons Contest The purpose of the Oral Reasons Contest is to help youth learn how to evaluate cattle and efficiently speak to the decisions they make when judging cattle, as well as further develop their speaking and sales skills. The contest will be held in conjunction with the Junior National Hereford Expo. NOTE: The Senior Oral Reasons scores will not be counted towards individual or team awards in the Judging Contest. This contest is separate and not required for any senior judging competitors. Only senior contestants are eligible (18-21 years of age as of Jan. 1). There are no prior requirements to the JNHE other than registering to compete in both the Oral Reasons Contest and the JNHE Judging Contest.

Photo Contest The purpose of this contest is to help NJHA members increase their photography skills through the creative spirit found through the lens of a camera.
