The Samuel H. Kress Foundation devotes its resources to advancing the study, conservation, and enjoyment of the vast heritage of European art, architecture, and archaeology from antiquity to the early 19th century. We support the work of individuals and institutions engaged with the appreciation, interpretation, preservation, study and teaching of the history of European art and architecture from antiquity to the dawn of the modern era. We make grants in defined program areas and offer professional development fellowships for historians of art and architecture, art conservators, art museum curators and educators, and art librarians. Advanced training in European art history requires direct exposure to the object of study, prolonged access to key information resources such as libraries and photographic archives, the development of professional relationships with colleagues abroad, and sustained immersion in European cultures. Six pre-doctoral Kress Institutional Fellowships in the History of European Art will be awarded each year. Fellowships are restricted to pre-doctoral candidates in the history of art and related disciplines (such as archaeology, architecture, or classics). Dissertation research must focus on European art from antiquity to the early 19th century.

Oracle Women in Leadership seeks to recognize one outstanding student who shows potential to excel in college STEM studies by awarding a one-time scholarship to a deserving female active-duty military college student pursuing a STEM degree. This scholarship will be applied towards the students ongoing higher-level academic education at an accredited Community College or four-year college or university. The Surety Bond Authority scholarship program is open to all high school and college students who are currently enrolled in or who are in pursuit of a degree in Accounting, Banking, Finance, or other business-related coursework. To participate, interested students must enter the essay contest to earn the opportunity to win $1,500 towards the college of their choice. To enter the essay contest, the student must submit a 500 to 1,000-word essay explaining why they have chosen or are choosing a career in Accounting, Banking, Finance, or other business-related fields. The essay should be submitted in either Word or PDF format only and should be emailed. The Susan Lawrence Soldier for Life Scholarship is established by our CEO LTG Susan S. Lawrence, USA (Ret.). LTG Lawrence graduated from Campbell University while enlisted at Fort Bragg. The OHM Diversity Scholarship Program is open to qualified women and minority students who are currently enrolled or planning to enroll in a STEM program or other related field of practice at OHM Advisors. The UA Scholars Award is a $15,000 scholarship awarded to Alaska high school students who are in the top 10% of their class at the end of their junior year as determined by their school. The Award is distributed in the amount of $1,800 per semester for eight semesters. No application is necessary. The Providing Support to Young Entrepreneurs Scholarship promises $2,500 to a student who can impress NextLaw with a description of a business they want to start. The scholarship winner will also receive NextLaw’s support as they launch their business. The Multi-Country Research Fellowship enables US scholars to carry out transational research in countries across the network of Overseas Research Centers as well as other countries. ​The fellowship supports advanced research in the humanities, social sciences, and allied natural sciences for US doctoral candidates, who are ‘all but dissertation,’ and scholars who have earned their PhD or a terminal degree. The UNIMA-USA scholarship program is intended to help cover tuition fees for American puppeteers who wish to study puppetry outside the U.S. Applicants should be puppeteers who have some professional experience, who have a university degree in puppetry, or who can otherwise demonstrate a serious commitment to the art form. Over the past several years, UNIMA has also given scholarships for study in an ever-widening number of places, including the Institut Internationale de la Marionnette in Charleville-Mezieres, France; the Central School of Speech and Drama in London, England; the International Summer Academy in Stuttgart, Germany; and Puppets in Prague. The working knowledge of another language might be necessary to fully participate in some programs. Candidates may use their scholarship at any time of the year, depending on when the courses are being offered. Puppetry training may be undertaken with either a recognized puppetry professional or a professional program outside the U.S. In some cases, an international puppet festival may be considered as a professional program.

The New Jersey Governor’s Industry Vocations Scholarship for Women & Minorities is open to women or minority group members (Black/African, Hispanic/Latino, Asian/Pacific Islander, Native American) who are attending any of New Jersey’s county colleges or technical/vocational schools and pursuing a construction-related field. These include, but are not limited to, architecture engineering technology, carpentry, electrical trades, industrial technology, and more.

Washington and Lee University's Johnson Scholarship recognizes and rewards students on the basis of academic achievement, demonstrated leadership and integrity, and their potential to contribute to the intellectual and civic life of the W&L campus and the world at large in years to come. Scholarships are awarded to up to 44 incoming students each year (roughly 10% of the first-year class). The STLE Jeanie S. McCoy Scholarship is an international essay contest open to deserving women pursuing an education and future career in tribology. This scholarship honors Jeanie S. McCoy, who began her career as a scientist in the 1940s when technical careers were largely male-dominated. The scholarship provides $5,000 to the recipient, whose essay will also be featured in Tribology & Lubrication Technology (TLT) magazine and recognized at the STLE Annual Meeting. The scholarship aims to inspire future female leaders in the field of tribology.

Mission Boost Grants (MBG) are designed to support research projects that specifically focus on translation to human testing. Since 1969, The English-Speaking Union has provided Luard Morse Scholarships to students attending historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) to study in the United Kingdom. The Society of Lake Management professionals (SLMP) is seeking applications for its annual Student Scholarship Award. The AvaCare Medical Scholarship recognizes those who are working to better the lives of our customers, students who are pursuing a degree in the medical field, with a prize of $1000 toward college tuition. A woman is eligible for consideration for an International Peace Scholarship if she: - is a woman outside the United States and Canada who is seeking an advanced degree from an accredited college or university in the U.S. or Canada; - will return to her home country to utilize her education to make a positive impact and foster global peace; and has a full year of formal coursework remaining and is enrolled and in residence in the U.S. or Canada for the entire school year; or is an international student attending Cottey College

To support an individual project of a scholarly nature, related to Aegean Bronze Age Archaeology, and to be conducted between July 1 of the award year and the following June 30. Preference will be given to candidates whose project requires travel to the Mediterranean for the purpose stated above. AIA fellowship funds may not be used for institutional overhead, institutional administrative recovery costs, or institutional indirect costs.

The Dakota Corps Scholarship is a scholarship program funded by private business, non profit corporations and the Governors Office. It was established to encourage South Dakota's high school graduates to: 1. Obtain their post secondary education in South Dakota 2. Remain in the state upon completion of their education and 3. Contribute to the state of South Dakota and its citizens by working in a critical need occupation. To be eligible for the Dakota Corps Scholarship students must: - Have graduated from an accredited South Dakota high school with a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.8 or greater on a 4.0 scale. Home schooled students will be allowed to provide supplemental information to qualify if the information for this requirement is not available. - Have 27 ACT Composite or Superscore or greater (or the SAT equivalent). - Agree in writing to stay in South Dakota and work in a critical need occupation after graduation for as many years as the scholarship was received plus one year. - Apply for the Dakota Corps Scholarship for a school period that begins within one year of high school graduation, or within one year of release from active duty of an active component of the armed forces. - Be an incoming freshman at a participating South Dakota college as an undergraduate student in a program that will prepare the student to work in a critical need occupation Be a U.S. citizen or national

Dwight Schwartz Travel Scholarship is open to students who are enrolled in a DVM/VMD program at an AVMA-accredited college of veterinary medicine. Applicants must also have a demonstrated interest in poultry medicine through a project, work experience, previous courses, or interest in attending an AAAP meeting. The scholarship is offered by the American Association of Avian Pathologists, an international association whose mission is to promote scientific knowledge to enhance the health, well–being, and productivity of poultry to provide safe and abundant food for the world. Each year, the scholarship awards up to $1,500 to one (1) lucky student to help pay for travel expenses to the American Association of Avian Pathologists Annual Meeting.

For this reason, we have decided to offer a little help to young people who have witnessed a loved one’s devastating struggle with cancer in order to ease at least their financial situation.
