The Phyliss J. McCarthy Scholarship for Excellence in Writing

Honoring Phyliss F McCarthy, this scholarship is open to high school juniors and seniors who submit a writing piece based on the year's given prompts. Submission must be the student's original work and not published elsewhere. The grand prize of $1000 is granted to one student, two others will received an amount that is to be determined.
