Scholarship Description

The lucky winner of the program will receive a $500 award.

In case you are the recipient, you must consent to a talent release and be ready to provide a digital photograph for display on Sunshinebehavioralhealth.com

The winner will be notified following the deadline and the award will not be given to the recipient but to the student’s school.

The deadline for the essay submission is December 1st.

Who's eligible?
Sunshine Behavioral Health’s Opioid Awareness Scholarship has certain eligibility criteria which have to be fulfilled to be accepted as a candidate.

Applications are open for the United States citizens only and the areas of study that will be considered include, but are not limited to, Nursing, Pre-Med, Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or any other field relating to substance abuse.

In order to participate in the contest, applicants must be currently enrolled/attending or planning to attend/accepted in an accredited college or university and plan to continue enrollment, they must be in good academic standing and under 18 year of age.

They need to have permission from a parent or legal guardian.
