Scholarship Description
SPJ awards up to $2,500 to one or more students who want to become professional journalists — whether they see themselves working in newspapers, magazines, photography, broadcast, radio, or digital. High school seniors and current college students are encouraged to apply.
Applicants must attend or plan to attend a Florida college or university; must be a full-time student in Fall 2024 pursuing a career in journalism, and must have a t least a 3.0 GPA. To apply, applicants must submit a transcript along with an essay (500 words max) responding to the prompt on the scholarship provider's website.
