Scholarship Description
The Slater-Millner Scholars Fund scholarship program will provide need-based scholarships to rising college sophomores planning to study Allopathic or Osteopathic Medicine with a demonstrated interest in becoming a doctor. Participants will receive a scholarship of up to $2,500 in their sophomore year, renewable for up to $5,000 in their junior year and up to $7,500 in their senior year, and will participate in a professional mentoring program.
Applicant Eligibility Requirements
- Have a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA
- Be a US Citizen or US Permanent Resident, or DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) eligible.
- Be a current college freshman who will be enrolled full-time as a sophomore in the 2025-2026 academic year at any US-located accredited 4-year institution.
- Be in a program on a curricular track for an M.D. degree in Allopathic Medicine or a D.O. degree in Osteopathic Medicine.
