Scholarship Description
This scholarship is intended for a highly motivated undocumented* or DACA students from Skagit County seeking to earn a college degree. Multi-year funding would be provided to complete a college degree. This scholarship provides supplemental funding and applicants must demonstrate that they have applied for a range of other sources such as Washington Application for State Financial Aid (WASFA), college and/or community-based scholarships to qualify.
To qualify for the scholarship, the applicant must be an undocumented graduating senior or current college student from Skagit County who plans to earn a college degree or professional certification. Students must maintain passing grades throughout college and will be contacted by the Skagit Community Foundation to ensure successful graduation. Preference will be given to those students demonstrating that they have applied for a wide range of other funding sources.
