NSHSS Performing Arts: Theater

Award:
Two (2) $1,000 awards

Eligibility:
NSHSS members graduating high school in 2025, 2026, 2027, or 2028 with a minimum GPA of 3.5

Scholarship Details:
NSHSS has created this scholarship dedicated to those interested in pursing their studies in the performing arts. A portion of the application requires the applicant to submit a short video of their performance. The top two (2) performers will be awarded a $1,000 scholarship to assist in continuing their art and sharing it with the world.

Application Requirements:
-Educator recommendation letter
-Upload a video of your performance, utilizing the following guidelines:
-A performance video of no more than 5 minutes
-A short description of your piece (no more than 150 words)
-A brief response answering the following question: What has inspired you to become a theater artist? How do you currently express this talent and how do you envision doing so in the future? (no more than 500 words)
-Color headshot suitable for website posting
-Academic resume
-Current Transcript (can be official or unofficial)
