Scholarship Description
The National Black Nurses Association scholarships to students at all levels (LPN to Doctorate).
Applications and supporting materials will ONLY be accepted electronically.
Applications and supporting materials will ONLY be accepted via the CommunityForce platform.
SCHOLARSHIP REQUIREMENTS:
The following is required for submission:
1. Two letters of recommendation
o One letter from a NBNA member, or leader (past or present) who can validate the information in your application, and your qualifications for the scholarship you are applying for.
o The second letter can be from Dean/Faculty member.
2. A copy of your current resume or CV
3. Personal career statement (Two-page max)
4. Current high-resolution photo
5. NBNA Pledge
ATTENDANCE AT THE NATIONAL CONFERENCE:
NBNA encourages the presence of all award recipients at the national conference to receive their honors in person; however, travel funds are not available.
