Scholarship Description
The Nanook Fine and Performing Arts Scholarship is open to incoming first-year students who will be studying either Theater & Film, Music, or Art at UAF.
Eligibility:
-Incoming first-year student applying to attend UAF as a full-time (12 credits or more) undergraduate in fall 2025.
-Admitted to a bachelor's degree in Art, Music or Theatre & Film.
-Demonstrate talent and potential to excel in the fine or performing arts.
Scholarship Amount:
Renewable award between $1,000-$5,000 per year, for a total of 4 years. To maintain eligibility, enroll in 12+ UAF credits (full-time) for fall and spring semesters, and meet Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP).
Deadline: Admissions applications, transcripts, and scholarship application must all be submitted before the deadline (Nov. 15 for the following fall semester). Award decisions will be announced by Jan. 15.
