Scholarship Description

The MOU Tribal Scholarship was developed through the Provost Office of WSU for members of Tribes that are signatory to a Memorandum of Understanding with WSU.

The MOU Scholarship is for new incoming freshmen students and transfer students. Awards are renewable if criteria are met.

Scholarship Criteria:
-Applicants must be an enrolled member of one of the Tribes that is signatory to the Memorandum of Understanding with WSU.
-Applicants must have a minimum high school or college GPA of 3.0.
-Applicants must plan to enroll at the Pullman, Vancouver, or Tri-Cities campuses.
-Applicants must enroll in TNBL online course during the first semester and ongoing TNBL credits based on an advising plan.
*Note. The TNBL coordinator will help students develop an advising plan that satisfies TNBL requirements while also meeting academic and campus requirements.

WSU Pullman Campus Applicants:
Twelve $4,000 awards are available at the Pullman Campus and freshmen students will be given priority consideration.

WSU Tri-Cities Campus Applicants:
Two $2,000 awards are available at the WSU Tri-Cities Campus to new incoming freshmen and transfer students who are members of a Signatory Tribe.

WSU Vancouver Campus Applicants:
Two $2,000 awards are available at the WSU Vancouver Campus to new incoming freshmen and transfer students who are members of a Signatory Tribe.
