Scholarship Description
Laurel House’s Social Work Racial Equity Scholarship is a competitive scholarship that aims to improve mental health care outcomes in Connecticut by developing culturally relevant Master of Social Work students committed to providing quality care to underserved communities.
Applications are now open for one $10,000 Scholarship and one $5,000 Scholarship in the 2025/26 school year.
Eligible applicants* must be:
- CT residents
- Black or Latino
- Enrolled in Master’s of Social Work program in CT or NY (required Letter of Recommendation)
- Able to demonstrate the need for financial assistance
- Committed to improving access to mental health care for underserved communities in Connecticut
