Scholarship Description
The Gantt-McColl Scholarship Fund provides financial assistance to students from Public High Schools, who are permanent residents of North Carolina to get to and through college via an annually renewable, need-based scholarship beginning with the 2025-2026 school year.
Applicants must meet the following criteria at the time of applying:
- A permanent resident of North Carolina (NC).
- A high school senior projected to graduate from an eligible public high school in Mecklenburg County, NC.
- Possess a minimum cumulative weighted grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
- Plan to enroll in any U.S.-located, accredited, four-year college or university in any major.
Award: Up to $30,000 over 4-Years ($7,500 per school year)
