Excellence in Character Scholarship

To be eligible for the Excellence in Character Scholarship, applicants must: be graduating seniors with a strong record of service in the community in non-school sponsored activities and participation in extracurricular school activities; have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and a total family annual income under $50,000; plan to attend a 2 or 4 year college or technical school; and not be the child of a board member of Oasis Focus, Inc. The scholarship will be awarded in August.

Apart from completing the application, applicants must also submit: proof of community service; a copy of their transcript and proof of family annual income; an endorsement from their guidance counselor; and their college/technical school admission letter. Applicants for the Excellence in Character Scholarship must reside in Dallas, Tarrant or Collin Counties. This scholarship is provided by Oasis Connection Ministries, which is a non-profit organization devoted to empowering and equipping people with God's transformative love.
