Scholarship Description
The CABAA Maintenance Committee Financial Award annually awards $8,000 to one high school senior or current college-level student who will be seeking a degree in aviation maintenance. Scholarship funds will be paid to the student and college or university in which the recipient is enrolled and are to be used to pay tuition or fees for aviation-specific programs. Applicants must include at least three letters of recommendation, with at least one being from an individual currently involved in business aviation (non-professors preferred), as well as a ~1,000-word essay and an unofficial copy of their high school transcript. Preference is given to Chicagoland/Illinois area residents and students, followed by residents and students of surrounding states.
