Scholarship Description

Amie Dansby Women in Technology Award – H.S. Senior ($5,000 awarded)

- Videogame design and technology fields have traditionally been male-dominated. In an effort to bring more diversity to these fields, this scholarship will be awarded to the most qualified female applicant.
- This scholarship is open to H.S. Seniors across the United States.
- Applicants for this scholarship must be female and the application must be marked as “female” in the gender category.


Amie Dansby Women in Technology Award – College Undergraduate ($5,000 awarded)
- Videogame design and technology fields have traditionally been male-dominated. In an effort to bring more diversity to these fields, this scholarship will be awarded to the most qualified female applicant.
- This scholarship is open to current College Undergraduates across the United States.
- Applicants for this scholarship must be female and the application must be marked as “female” in the gender category.


Frisco, Texas Resident ($2,000 awarded)
- Frisco is home to the National Videogame Museum, and the museum would like to award one applicant residing within the Frisco city limits.


Texas Resident ($2,000 awarded)
- Applicants must be current residents of the state of Texas.
Texas residents attending out-of-state colleges will be considered in this category.

Texas Resident – Title 1 School Graduate ($2,000 awarded)
- Applicants must be a current resident of the state of Texas AND must be graduating from a state of Texas designated Title 1 school.
- In order to qualify for this award, the applicant must also submit a separate statement
- A letter indicating their family household income is less than $50,000/year.
