The New Jersey Governor’s Industry Vocations Scholarship for Women & Minorities is open to women or minority group members (Black/African, Hispanic/Latino, Asian/Pacific Islander, Native American) who are attending any of New Jersey’s county colleges or technical/vocational schools and pursuing a construction-related field. These include, but are not limited to, architecture engineering technology, carpentry, electrical trades, industrial technology, and more.

Washington and Lee University's Johnson Scholarship recognizes and rewards students on the basis of academic achievement, demonstrated leadership and integrity, and their potential to contribute to the intellectual and civic life of the W&L campus and the world at large in years to come. Scholarships are awarded to up to 44 incoming students each year (roughly 10% of the first-year class). Johnson Scholarships cover tuition and fees, housing and food, and $10,000 in funding for a summer experience — a grand total of more than $89,000 per year. Students with additional financial need may also see their scholarship amount increased to cover additional costs of attendance, which may include textbooks and supplies, travel expenses, and technology costs.

Chancellor's Scholars receive full tuition, plus a one-time summer stipend for an immersive experience following the sophomore or junior year. Vanderbilt will provide additional need-based financial aid to those Chancellor's Scholarship recipients whose demonstrated financial need exceeds the amount of full tuition. Scholarships are renewed each year as long as the recipient maintains at least a 3.0 GPA. The STLE Jeanie S. McCoy Scholarship is an international essay contest open to deserving women pursuing an education and future career in tribology. This scholarship honors Jeanie S. McCoy, who began her career as a scientist in the 1940s when technical careers were largely male-dominated. The scholarship provides $5,000 to the recipient, whose essay will also be featured in Tribology & Lubrication Technology (TLT) magazine and recognized at the STLE Annual Meeting. The scholarship aims to inspire future female leaders in the field of tribology.

All High School grades are eligible. Each award is a one-time, non-renewable award that is paid directly to the institution and is to be used exclusively to offset costs and fees related directly to the student’s first year of higher post-secondary education at an accredited institution of the student’s choosing within the United States. To promote diversity and equity in the optometric profession for generations to come, the American Optometric Association (AOA) and the American Optometric Student Association (AOSA) have created the AOA/AOSA Opportunities in Optometry Grant program. This fund is designed as a one-time stipend for under-represented minority students interested in the field of optometry to help defray the costs associated with applying to optometry school. Multiple grants of $1,500 each will be awarded annually to students who are chosen by the selection committee in 2021. Purpose: To support a student nurse who is pursuing a career in oncology nursing by providing the funding to attend ONS Congress®.  Preference for this award is given to student nurses who are based within a 30-mile radius of the location where ONS Congress is being held.  However, because funding may vary from year to year for this award, the Foundation encourages applications from outside of the 30-mile radius for consideration by our review panel. Scholarship: Registration to attend the 2026 ONS Congress, May 13-17, 2026, in San Antonio, Texas. Reimbursement for meals and transportation expenses during the conference and 1-year membership to the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS). For those outside the 30-mile radius, consideration will be given for reimbursement of meals, transportation, and accommodations during the ONS Congress period. Scholarship: Recipients will receive a scholarship for up to $2,000 to apply toward ONS Congress registration, travel to and from ONS Congress, and per diem expenses. -Individuals living or working within a 30-mile radius of the conference location are eligible to receive the conference registration fee only. -One scholarship is available to nurses in the Cincinnati Tri-State area with preference given to members of the ONS Cincinnati Tri-State area chapter through Oncology Hematology Care, Inc funding. -Two to three scholarships are available to applicants living in Sioux City, Storm Lake, and surrounding areas through the Siouxland Chapter fund. Discovery Boost Grants (DBG) support high-risk, high-reward exploratory cancer research across the research continuum. Investigators may focus on developing research methodologies, establishing feasibility, or leading pilot tests. Mission Boost Grants (MBG) are designed to support research projects that specifically focus on translation to human testing. MBGs are opportunities for independent investigators at all levels to apply for additional, or "boost," resources for innovative, clinical-enabling projects. MBGs offer 2 stages of funding: -Stage I requires the investigator to develop outcome-specific, unequivocal milestones that reduce the risks of studying a new drug, device, or procedure in patients. -Stage II supports testing in cancer patients. Stage I Mission Boost Stage I will be for a term of up to 2 years with an allowable budget of $135,000 per year direct costs plus 10% allowable indirect costs ($297,000 allowable total costs). Stage II Mission Boost Stage II will be for a term of up to 18 months with an allowable budget up to $545,000 direct costs plus 10% allowable indirect costs.

Grant Overview Postdoctoral Fellowships (PF) support new investigators in research training programs to position them for independent careers in cancer research. As part of their evaluation, peer reviewers consider how well the fellowship will broaden the applicant’s research training and experience. Scholarship Eligibility: -Must be enrolled or intending to enroll at an accredited college or university based in the United States, including Hawaii and Alaska. -Be enrolled or intend to enroll in one of the following types of programs: a bachelor's degree, a master's or doctoral degree, or a medical, law, or other professional degree. -Community college students must be transferring to a bachelor’s degree program at a four-year college or university for the academic year of the scholarship. Since 1969, The English-Speaking Union has provided Luard Morse Scholarships to students attending historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) to study in the United Kingdom. The scholarship is open to sophomore students in all disciplines and has been awarded to students majoring in economics, philosophy, finance, mathematics, liberal arts and the sciences. This is open to African-American students. Candidates must be U.S. Citizens, excel academically (minimum 3.0 grade point average) and demonstrate strong leadership skills, community involvement, and interest in international affairs, culture or issues of global significance. As we get to know each student through their writing, records, and recommendations, the following six qualities, among others, are being considered: Academic Success; Intellectual Curiosity;Relevance of ESU Luard Morse Scholarship; Character; Leadership and Community Engagement; and Ambassadorship.

The NJCPA Scholarship Fund awards scholarships to college-bound New Jersey high school seniors intending to major in accounting or obtain a concentration in accounting which includes not less than 24 accounting credits. Scholarships are awarded based on academic performance, essay and personal interview. To apply for the scholarship, students must create a NJCPA account to log-in with to complete an application. The Society of Lake Management professionals (SLMP) is seeking applications for its annual Student Scholarship Award. SLMP intends to award $6,000 (1st- $3,000, 2nd - $2,000 and 3rd - $1,000) in scholarships to the top three successful applicants at the January SLMP Summit that will take place in January at the Hard Rock Hotel in Daytona Beach, Florida. Scholarship funds are provided directly to the student and may be used by the recipient to cover costs associated with education, project/research expenses. Eligible applicants should be enrolled as full-time undergraduate or graduate students in an accredited college or university within the United States. The Demetrios Halikis Scholarship supports students of Hellenic (Greek) descent or California residents pursuing medical or dental studies. This scholarship is designed to assist students enrolled in accredited California medical or dental schools, providing financial support to future professionals dedicated to health and service.

The Foundation is committed to funding students with the greatest financial need. The New Hampshire Charitable Foundation manages more than 450 scholarship funds. Students need to only fill out a single online application using ScholarshipSource, to be considered for all the Foundation’s scholarship resources. The Gilbert Kushner Travel Award honors the legacy of an influential SfAA Fellow and recipient of the 2005 Sol Tax Distinguished Service Award. Renowned for his pioneering role in developing applied anthropology as a graduate field, Kushner served as Chair of the University of South Florida’s Anthropology Department and Associate Dean of Social and Behavioral Sciences. Under his leadership, USF became a leading center for applied anthropology, with numerous MA and Ph.D. students in the field. Kushner strongly advocated for field experiences, believing they offer invaluable insights for anthropologists. His research, which began with studies of Indian immigrants to Israel, fostered a lifelong commitment to ethics, human rights, and the persistence of cultural groups. About the International Documentary Photography Award The International Documentary Photography Award encourages personal involvement in social issues and promotes socially conscious documentary photography. The subject matter is entirely the choice of the student. However, it should clearly document a person, group of people, place, event, or happening of social relevance. The Families of Freedom Scholarship Fund benefits financially needy dependent children, spouses, and domestic partners of 9/11 victims. Registrants must be dependent children, spouses, or domestic partners of 9/11 victims, including airplane crew and passengers; World Trade Center and Pentagon workers and visitors; and relief workers, including firefighters, emergency medical personnel, and law enforcement personnel, who were involved in the rescue efforts. Parents and siblings of victims are not eligible unless they can provide documentation of financial dependence on the victim.
