MISS Award

Any Black or African-American mother pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree may apply for this scholarship if she is a non-traditional student, such as an adult learner, a refugee, someone pursuing a second degree, etc.

To apply, write a 400-600 word essay about yourself, your plans to make a difference, why you’re a non-traditional student, and what you have learned from being a mother. Additionally, upload images of you with your children.
